Thanks! My personal channel is exploring the microbiome and THE LYMPH SYSTEM in neurological disease. Glad for the support for my hypothesis.

The gut brain connection once I learnt this is how I completely overcame my mental illnesses, Borderline personality disorder, Anxiety.

The basic principle is revealed by the Chinese long long time ago. There is an old Chinese saying: when you are fed and warm, you will think about sex (reproduction). On the other hand, when you are hungry and miserable, you think about survival. That is the core of the gut/brain relationship.

My 4 years old son met all his milestones, talked and was very advanced for his age, then st almost 3 5 he stopped talking. He exhibited abnormal behaviors and diagnosis was autism. Did OAT test in Canada and everything was great, didn't believe it. Second opinion with Great Plains Lab and his gut is full of clostridia ( HPHPA and cresol) and other overgrowth bacteria. The neurotransmitter is messed up, just hard to see my smart boy going from advanced to just severe autism. It is just beyond comprehension how his pediatrician refused to give him vancomycin after I show her the Las test fortunately I didn't get discouraged. Canada OAT doesn't check the gut and brain chemistry. I can go on and on. Doctors need to be retrained and learn about c difficile and its effect on the brain.

At least one study suggests that excess iron in the colon can potentially lead to an increase of pathogenic bacteria in the gut causing dysbiosis.

    Excellent presentation! Thank you
  • Suberb lecture, thank you so much. I am a psychologist by background with a special interest in the microbiota-gut-brain-immune axis.
  • @Hack_The_Planet_
I was just hearing about this topic on a podcast I was listening to, very interesting!
  • @calfortrump9399
Thank you for providing this very interesting and informative topic to the "public"! It certainly points to the value of Nutrition as a means to promoting and sustaining [natural] Life! Please continue to publicize the evidence-based microbiome reports! God bless!

@7:44 anecdotal evidence on what you are saying, I'm 70 and with the pandemic and the evolutionary changes in our reality with my rapid decline in my health I have noticed my stools and urine are changing consistency ... Good luck on your journey on planet Earth everyone....

People a mere 100 years ago had a different gut microbiome. All the GMO, petroleum derived dyes, corn derived addictives, artificial sweeteners, harsh antibacterial cleaning solutions/sanitizer has really throun off our gut microbiome.
  • @animamundii
Thank you very much for this lecture. This is something I suspected for a long time but no doctor will look at your gut health... sad
  • @franceslock1662
The Zoe project in England with online engagement is a great way to make informed daily lifestyle choices based on this research.

Wondering...what is the % of females versus males in all autoimmune diseases? Thanks.
  • @richardshane2080
I'd like to also add because of our brain communication and our brain itself as an biological electrical device, have they not develop a strong electrical receiver that is able to read your mind just before you express it???
  • @gwho
Does this cover anything specific other than that there IS a connection?
  • Would that these good researchers/this channel might share more of the reasonable hypotheses within their ranks - as they are astounding, and many of us chronically ill persons could base our own health explorations upon specific directions under investigation. Autoimmunity is NOT a great alternative to science withheld due to an abundance of caution ( or Big Pharma’s ambition$). Thanks all, please bring us more! (q&a much appreciated - were they from a livestream I missed?$
  • Keep it up doctors you're on the right track it's the missing link biofira in the intestine. Besides nutrition the absolute Missing Link United States medicine..! Keep up the good work with the great discoveries this is the future..!
