Ranking Every Oculus Headset EVER...

In Todays video I rank each of the 7 Oculus/Facebook made headsets from best to worst on a tier list. From the first Oculus Rift DK1, to the Oculus Go, Oculus Quest, Oculus Rift S, and of course the Oculus Quest 2. These are some of the most important headsets in VR history.

My channel is about VR Content (obviously lol) I've covered many topics on this channel in the past such as PC Building, PC Gaming Knowledge, Gaming News. That can be CPM rates, Industry knowledge, Business knowledge, how to edit, how to build a gaming PC, budget or not. But VR is cooler so I'm probably gonna keep doing that.

I'm like the monkey you send into space for tests. I just come back with the results and give them to you for FREE.

Anyone watching this when the quest 3 is out
  • @alicemation
So far the quest 2 has been the best. Ive tried a few and the quest was so freeing and felt like true vr

I just got an oculus rift cv1 , paired it with my pc and jumped at NMS. i have never, ever used vr before. it is such a nice experience. only downside is that someone mentioned the proprietary cable to me and now i have them stashed in its case and saving for an oculus quest 2 to continue with my vr gaming.

Thank you for this video, you have cleared up many of my questions and i am now more confident with my choice of vr headset i will be getting.

I like the Quest 1 because it really brought the possibilities of VR to the surface, and got a lot of people into VR.

Quest two has been my favorite so far. So great, and very affordable! I feel like lots of people can now play VR. Before, only the rich people could. Now we can meet many more people and play more games! I also love the constant updates and the long list of features. Pretty amazing! Love your videos and thank you for informing us of all the stuff! It’s crazy to see the evolution of VR!
  • Favorite by far is the Rift S. It's my first VR headset and has been insanely durable.

At first I was regretting my Quest 2 when watching this but now I'm glad I got it since it's practically the best version along with some of the Rifts.
  • The Quest 2 blew the others out of the water. It was the first headset to really become mainstream and introduced the whole genre to average people. I think it's done more to expand the community than anything else.

Sadly I'm slightly biased for the quest 2 but the rift s will be my favourite headset as it got me into vr

The CV1 will always have a special place in my heart, I might never use it again due to it's specs but I will certainly never ever forget it. My first "VR experience" may have technically been with a £30 phone VR headset but the CV1 feels like the real first step I took into the VR world.
  • I love how the quest 2 manages to bring really good new experiences and be affordable, when i asked my mom if i could get one she said that the price for a vr headset was too good to be true

My rift S has treated me well so far, as someone that uses it mostly for VRChat and changing things for quality of life fixes, like using a Bluetooth gaming headset for a mic and audio instead of the built in mic and "Rifting" I have very little issue with it.

quest 2 is an amazing platform to play on especially considering its has the same pricing of a new gen gaming console. And since its cheaper people can just get their hands on one easily and its growing the vr community

I think a mash up of the oculus rift and the quest 2 could give a great system with some moding making the quest 2's camera tracking and insides mixed with the body of a oculus rift with some holes for the cameras could help make a better system because the sound could come out of the headphones for better sound quality plus the no tethers needed for it making this a good combo

I first got into VR when my dad got the Gear VR for Samsung. I fell in love with it and saw videos. The problem was I couldn’t play any good games (equivalent to the oculus go pretty much), and you needed a phone constantly in there. I figured out all the fun games the YouTubers were playing like beat saber and stuff was only on PC. I had a MacBook… For people like me, the quest was heaven as it gave us hope to play good games without a pc or phone (my dad was mostly not home to use his Samsung anyway). The thing was heaven, and I like everything about it better than the quest 2 except the fatal flaw being on how heavy it is. I always play with my friends with it and need breaks after a while cuz my head starts hurting, but it still does last awhile (it’s works even better cause I bought a weight on the back to make it less front heavy). Anyway, I can’t seem to find a way to get the quest 2, just isn’t worth it. All the features including airline and all the games are on the quest 1, and everything about it is better except the weight and obviously the slightly better graphics and stuff but it’s not really noticed with modern games and such. *Oculus Quest 1 the best for me and also brought most people to VR from what I can tell. The new generation alpha and crap be coming from quest 2, but that doesn’t cover on how great the quest 1 is. Anyway, if you don’t have a VR currently get the quest 2 for sure tho as the weight ain’t worth it, plus quest 1 is discontinued anyway.*

Quest 2 easily for being packed with software, games and features, capability to be used freely without a PC as well as the option to be used as a PCVR headset, and continued support through updates and experimental features. At the price point it's hard to justify any other headset especially when the competitors are easily double the price or more in some cases. The fact that it's basically good to go out of the box with almost no setup also makes it incredibly accessible and user friendly
  • @maxisgiraffe
The rift s is definite my favorite, it was the first non-playspace station headset and it had its expection stood up with most of the things of rift s was better than the rift
  • @janski1476
my first ever vr experience was on the oculus dk1, back then it was amazing and I remember thinking "wtf this looks like real life".
  • @unlikeq5948
This video has given me great hope and excitement to get a vr head seat of my own!
