Emma has the gift to convey the emotion of the song to the audience in a way that language does not matter anymore: it just takes you. I think that's so, so special about her.

Hello!, I really like Emma, I admire so much talent at such a young age. I get excited every time I hear this brave and generous girl, I hope she can get better her life quality, she's a very inspiring singer. Thanks for supporting this artist. Best wishes 👏👋

I always enjoy and respect your reactions to Emma. You are so right about how she has, and is, developing as an artist. After 'Voila', I think many thought she would never be able surpass that performance....as if she gotten lucky or something. How wrong they were. She has just gotten better and better in the year since, and continues to turn in superb performances every time she takes the stage. You used the word 'class' to describe her professionalism and humble nature, and I could not agree more. Emma is a rare gem in this world of excess and ego-driven hubris. She is refined, respectful; a true class-act. That, and her enormous talent is going to make her one of the most loved and respected artists in the entire world by the time it is all finished. Thanks again for a great reaction. All the best.
  • Love your reactions of Emma as usual. May I suggest You Raise Me up that she did at this same concert this month. Hope you continue to follow her. I am absolutely in love with this wonderful and talented young lady.🤗🤗

You always do nice reactions to Emma songs. Thanks Whereas ‘Voila’ was from July 2023, this was one of a series of concerts with the Dutch Royal Military Band, KMKJWF. This one in The Hague on 8th May 2024. Some other examples of Emma Kok in this series: 'When You Believe' (A Whitney Houston / Mariah Carey cover) sung at the Freedom Concert in Amsterdam 5th May 2024; Emma is 16 here singing with April Darby. This was performed with the King and Queen of the Netherlands and Prime Minister and other dignitaries in the audience. https://youtu.be/YG8WV1GFt_c 'You Raise Me Up' Another song in the series of performances around, education, liberation, commemoration and freedom that Emma has supported for the last 2 years. This performed on 14th May at a church in Rhenen near the memorial site of the WWII Battle of Grebbeberg where approximately 800 lives were lost over 3 days in May 1940. https://youtu.be/NIXB7TbeMvw

I'm glad that you keep following Emma. As you noticed with this beautiful performance, it will be an interesting road. As you said, Emma is able to let us feel the full range of emotions, love hate anger, thru her voice and presence like no one else at this moment.. And that highest note was unbelievable and perfect. Gives me the chill everytime. Others already pointed to the other songs that she did in the same setting. You really should have a look at them to.

She did this same song with the same orchestra at the liberation concert on the militairy cemetery in Margraten near to where she lives. There are over 8000 WW2 American soldiers burried there. At the same concert she sang "Hero" from Mariah Carey. Prior to the concert she did an interview at the cemetery. All very impressive and it makes you know Emma a little more intemately. • I am not "getting" the internet fascination with Emma. While she technically can sing very well, her voice is very much that of a child. Personally I feel in many songs that sounds "off" to me.
