GG says woof to Lily, Noah and the six puppies
  • Yet again folks .you have exceeded all my expectations with this video .. All I can really say is that it's brilliant ..I only wish I had met you when I lived on my narrow boat . however your videos are a stark reminder of just how blessed I have been .. to be able to spend most of my life on a narrow boat travelling the canal system .. the places I have seen and the people I have met along the way..I hope I will never forget.. I have worked in many countries around the world and have seen many wonderful.places..and met lot of interesting people.. However I have always looked at the canals as home..and the people who live on them as family.. To me there is no where better in the world to live Anyway folks stay safe and above all keep well.🐐🐐🐐,
  • Many a happy hour on the M25 , I felt a sense of sarcasm there. Though I do get a feeling of relief when getting onto the m25 after delivering in London. Lol.
  • Always look forward to another vlog on Saturday mornings. Take care guys x
  • Excellent videos, brings back happy memories when we did the same trip many years ago The totem pole at Berkhampstead must have gone now, otherwise I'm sure you would have included it. Quite a landmark by the side of the canal as you approached the village from the North. And whilst there did you manage to get up to Ashridge Estate, the original stately home of the 3rd Duke of Bridgewater, who had the Brodgewster Canal built. There's a large column, like Nelson's in the park in memory of him Take care as you get closer into the city, there's a lot of boats about, though the boating community is very supportive. Did you manage to book the Canal Museum for an overnight mooring, Best Regards, Philip H

beautiful countryside - like you say - who would guess how close to London you were getting. thought you were under Niagara Falls at the beginning there!
  • So many of these place names (like Apsley, Norwood, Peterborough) exist here in Ontario. If that little lock cottage is kept up it will, in the near future, command a price that would leave you speechless. Apartments and condos?...you rent or own up to the paint on the walls. That dowdy wee cottage has a bit of land attached to it. You could walk out the front door...and not into a corridor to a stairwell or elevator, but onto a front walk all yer own, be it gravel, flagstones or concrete slabs. You can live there and not hear the neighbors arguing or listening to their teen-aged offspring's idea of music. All this if it isn't bought and the site "re-developed".
  • I always struggle getting my teeth round that name.l always think of Elsie from Apsley l find that helps😂
