New RZR Falls Off Narrow Road

While we were in Colorado at the Rock Junction event we got a call from someone who had wrecked their RZR on the mountain above Monticello Utah. We weren't available so we referred them to Moab SxS. They went in to look at it and were unable to get their bigger recovery unit close enough to get it. So when we got back to moab we went up and helped them. Due to how narrow the road was we had to remote winch it up and out. Luckily Dustin brought parts and we were able to fix it and once on its wheels get it running and drive it out. Thank you everyone for watching and supporting us.

I'm glad I was able to make my slide down the hill look graceful and intentional......😁
  • Trailmater is the BEST crew for off road recovery repair videos. Their chemistry is a perfect blend to get the jobs done and be entertaining.
  • There is a shining example of 2 Moab businesses collaborating on one job, have friend along and get shenanigans while the work gets done. Great video as usual and Thanks

Colt seems to be himself more when he’s with this crew than any other.
  • You gotta love it when colt and his better half turn up, knowledgeable and humorous. Just great watching all these channels and the people on them.
  • When Colt said he wanted to stand on top of the rock and go "Kaw, Kaw" I was laughing out loud. 🤣😂 Great job guys! You had the right crew for the job. Thanks for taking us along.

Mike's nature observations add a great element to the channel

“You can tell because how they are”
  • Who needs 4x4 when you have a Colt?😁 Nice to see a little outside of the normal recovery and the purple CJ putting in the work.
  • Rory, Mike and Shawn are the best of the best when it comes to recovery and jokes at the same time!!💪
  • I’m just beside myself. You guys are awesome. Adventure and comedy. It gets no better.
  • Once again having the correct recovery vehicle and a ton of recovery gear and 10 life times of knowledge makes anything possible.

Alan with Yankum should have Rory do the advertisement for the "non-edible donut"! 😆
  • What I really like about this channel, which separates them from most other recovery channels is the teaching aspect, they explain what and how they are doing the recovery.

Rory's recoveries are more the 'edge of your seat' as we watch and The Trail Mater team a great group of real men doing what they do best...

Trail repair before the recovery can start, rig then re-rig...the things you guys need to do for a recovery. Hope these people not only are glad they survived but appreciate all the skill and knowledge you guys did for the recovery of the RZR. Thanks for sharing.

The RZR has given a lot of y'all offroad recovery folks a lot of business! Between noobs driving, excessive testicular fortitude, and breaking parts, they suffer a bit. Speed gets many, I can name 4 or 5 different RZR incidents among people I know, alcohol and speed mostly. Among the side by sides, I'm more the Mahindra Roxor type. Closer to what I grew up driving. Dad preached "as slow as you can, as fast as ya gotta" to us growing up.

Always admirable how much respect you all have for the trails. Next people through would have no idea there was a jeep up there and a recovery took place.
  • That intro reminded me of the videos of regular tow trucks flipping cars over and then suddenly the hook drops off and the car rolls back off the road and into a different ditch. I can't imagine anyone doing a recovery without a soft shackle anymore. I've watched Rory and Casey LaDelle flipping over vehicles with one winch to start the roll and another to catch the vehicle and lower it back onto its wheels. That's the way you do it.

I'm glad you guys spend time discussing the rigging for us. It's interesting to learn about. Rory is the master of rigging.
