Security camera footage gives police new hope finding missing 15-year-old

Alison Jillian Chao, 15, was last seen on Tuesday at around 6:20 p.m. in the 4400 block of Collis Avenue in the El Sereno area, according to the Monterey Park Police Department. Laurie Perez reports.

Did she have a cell phone while riding? Did she own a cell phone at all? Did she have social media? Her saying that she was going to the aunt's house while heading in the wrong direction can only mean 2 things; she got lost, or she lied about her intentions to go to the aunt's house. If she got lost, she would have used her cell phone. If she lied about it and was on her way to meet someone, she would need to use her cell phone too and there would be a history of communicating with someone about it.

It's possible that she hates her mother and that's why she's running away to be with her dad. Some mothers are abusive as hell and the kids hate their moms. I'm not saying that this is the case in this situation but it definitely is possible that the child just doesn't want to live with her mom anymore.
