I think back on Sam’s interview with Elon Musk before the OpenAi deal was made. He asked Elon about fear and Elon admitted he feels fear quite strongly, but if the work is important enough, you do it anyway. I think Sam took away the wrong meaning from Elon’s statements. Developing an AGi is not work important enough to risk the existing of humanity you megalomaniac!
