Personally, my favorite explanation that im suprised nobody uses in these videos is that Midoriya actually had a power stockpiling quirk, and he just couldnt use it until he was 15 because he hadnt stocked up enough energy, then by the time he had stocked up enough, he was too physically weak to use it without dying, so his body subconciously refused to use it.

the way you managed to balance out the dialogue to reaction ratio is amazing, seeing the characters interact with each other and actually have their own individual personalities is honestly pretty rare in this genre of video, i applaud you for how well this was made and how spot on izuku and katsuki’s personalities are. i’m currently only 14 minutes in but the order in which the videos have been shown is really satisfying, and the way they actually have questions and discuss between themselves keeps it interesting and fun to watch. usually, when a video has alot of dialogue, i tend to skip it, but this really exceeded my expectations and i seriously enjoyed watching them talk. the designs aren’t too simple and aren’t over the top and really just feel like they belong. also, managing to make the video almost half an hour long is no easy feat, and i’m quite impressed. overall, 10/10 video, keep it up!

Dude, u just gained a new follower! This was amazing, def one of the best reaction vids I’ve seen (and I’ve seen A LOT). The characters were all distinctive, and each spoke at least once, or more, and provided intelligent commentary in between vids. The pacing was perfect, the dialogue fresh, and not to mention the designs! Even the movements were perfect. (I also really enjoyed the moments when Izuku mumbled, it made him much more in character, and lent the reaction a more “real” feel to it!) So amazing! Can’t wait to see more reactions in the future!

I don’t ever write comments on Gacha videos, but I have to say that this is genuinely one of the best, if not THE best MHA react video. The characters feel like themselves, the dialogue feels genuine like they’re actually conversing with one another, and the reactions don’t feel exaggerated but also don’t feel too mellow. The character designs were also great! And with how long this video is, it doesn’t feel like it gets rushed towards the end like some end up being.
