They managed to make fun of black and white people with the absolute best stereotypes out there, without anyone getting triggered
-
Keenan’s face every time Doug gets an answer right tho
-
Tom's delivery of "what is, not a daaamn thing" is just so pure and golden. And the ladies' appreciative reaction to it just makes it even better. The writers and cast really outdid themselves with this one I'll tell ya h'what.
-
I like how they show that people, no matter your color of skin, have more in common when you share the same tax bracket.
-
This is how you do racial humor without being racist.
-
This sketch perfectly illustrates that people are more separated by class than by race. Hilarious and ballsy.
-
“If I can laugh and pray in 90 minutes that is money we’ll spent” GOLD😂😂😂
-
“Mm I don’t know, he got teeth don’t he?” That floored me 😂
-
This is a great skit called : “if you were raised poor it’s the same shit”
-
I'm black. I had a Doug friend in HS. He was alright. You just need to find things in common.
-
Tom Hanks backing away with his hands up as Kenan walks up to him is subtlety the funniest thing in this whole skit xD
-
Kenan's "well it was good while it lasted, Doug" at the end is pure gold.
-
As a black man living in the south who knows MAGAs, the skit really does illustrate how much rural whites and blacks have in common.
-
I don't think anyone could have imagined how well this bit would age.
-
It's like a crescendo building and getting better and better. "Not a damn thang" kills me every time!😂
-
Keegan rocking with Doug's answers is so great. That "YES!" is from the soul. That "good for you" in the beginning was hilarious
-
Forrest Gump has really taken a turn in recent years.
-
Tom Hanks is great obviously, but can we acknowledge once again how Kenan Thompson is just the most consummate SNL workhorse? he can sell any line, make any skit work, makes every character better. he's just automatic. like Tracy Morgan. like Chris Farley.
-
"My wife, she's a sturdy gal 😂😂"
-
Six years later, and it’s still the greatest SNL sketch of all time 😂
