I just realized they look at you when you select them. They know what’s gonna happen. Since this uses beta sprites, maybe, again, the story is that ERR was supposed to be Sonic, but was scrapped last minute. So he went mad and started killing the others. Endlessly. In a loop. So when someone stumbles across the game, the characters look at you like ”Please, no. Don’t do it.” ERR is a bit of a psychopath anyways. Not to mention, he sounds ANGERY.
