As someone who works in private security (no it's not a pizza place), I can confirm that the experience is a lot like nights 1 & 2. I can't sleep on the job, of course, but I spend most of my shift alternating between watching the cameras and reading/watching stuff online to keep myself awake. Mainly because there's just not a lot going on. The only difference is that once every few hours, I have to get up and do a physical patrol around the building: make sure the appropriate doors are locked, make sure there's no graffiti left by any of the workers, make sure none of the computers have been tampered with, etc. Imagine having to do that at Freddy Fazbear's!

fun fact about the original FNaF game: keeping both doors shut for 1 hour will result in about 20-25% power usage, meaning it is safe to close them at 5 AM if you have 25% or more. it was part of the strategy i've used to beat the game

Imagine if everything in the FNAF series never happened for real? Every bit of supernatural stuff is just the security guard getting insane after Five 6 hour shifts of waiting for something to happen.

Man, it's a darn shame you weren't able to slow down the animatronic AI. It'd be pretty neat to have this sorta-chill idle-game experience interspersed with INTENSE PANIC for six hours, like what it realistically would be.
