Comparison/Overview of "all-season" and dedicated winter tires. The video features the all-season Goodyear Assurance: 215/55R17 (V speed rated) and the Michelin X-Ice Xi3 studless winter tire in size: 215/60R16 (H speed rated). The Goodyear tire came stock on my late model Honda Accord EX-L and the Michelin was bought as a dedicated winter tire/wheel set from tirerack.com.

  • You and I have the same Craftmans Impact drill. I love mine since I use it to take off the lug nuts on my wheels.

Is your goodyear tire have a lot of noise? I am thinking about to get them but I saw a lot of people online said this tire is good other than the noise.

hey thanks for posting this video.. I have a question: Are these good on ice like if you have a slight slope on the driveway lip area? will the Michelin Tire go up on the slope without a problem.. I want to put them on my 99 civic.. and iam stuck on choosing the General altimax arctic tires.. and the Michelins.. and do u think studded tires are good.. I also live in the NY Area..thank you
