However, if you want to see how the actors would look if they suited up in the costumes from the comics, we’ve got you’ve covered. From Aquaman’s drastically different haircut to Superman’s more colorful outfit, here's how some DC superheroes should really look, according to the comics.

Aquaman''s color scheme always reminded me of a silly sea going carrot. Jason Momoa's look is perfect: tribal and totally badass. He looks like he could rip a person in half with his bare hands.

Batman and Aquaman easily looking the best right now. Everybody else is fine, except for Atom

You gotta admit, Melissa Benoist as Supergirl is really cool and sweet :)

Don't forget Shaq's "Steel" and Halle Berry's "Catwoman". OK, maybe you should.

I actually like Wonder Woman's new look. She's an amazon warrior, it makes sense for her to wear armor. It seems like a lot of DC characters are getting suits that resemble armor. Instead of brightly colored spandex. Don't get me wrong, I'm huge fan of Superman, Wonder Woman and Batman's older looks. However, the updated versions look fine to me. The Justice League heroes are warriors, and warriors wear armor not spandex.

Are we not gonna talk about how flash shouldn't be a 130 lb pseudo-ethnic hipster?

I like Batman's costume in Dawn of Justice but it looks like a load of duct tape wrapped round his body

I prefer the Green Arrow with a hood than with that stupid Robin Hood look, it just looks lame

Personally I think Gadot is too skinny to be WW, she's suppose to be an Amazonian princess not a bloody supermodel

I love the grittier outfits...the old ones are too childish!

The designers of the "Arrowverse" TV costumes have actually said that spandex style costumes, like in the comics, don't transfer well to someone actually wearing them onscreen as it just looks cheap and weird. That is the reason why all the movie and TV adaptations of comic books, when they had an actual budget, designed their costumes as a sort of armoured bodysuit instead of a spandex ones that were in adaptations up until the 1980's when they switched.
  • Person I think the only thing Superman is missing is the curl in his hair.
  • @crappywindow
supergirl is hella cute need to check that show out
  • I personally like all the costume changes, they look more practical. I just think it looks awkward and almost unbelievable seeing the bright colored thin spandex in reality. It feels out of place. But with the change, It's easy on the eyes, and just over all pleasing to look at (for the reality setting)

I like new Wonder Woman costume much better.
