Beginner's Tutorial: Rolling Meat for Barble and Chub ( MUST WATCH )

Hello again everyone , today we delve deep into the dark art of rolling meat for Barble and Chub on rivers , from swim selection to tackle and baits used . As somebody whom has not tried this technique before we share our learning experience from the bank side , sharing hints and tips that we learn along the way of this easy to learn but hard to master skill . Come along for the ride as we show our complete session and the thought processes behind it as we catch 18 Chub from two and a half pound to well over four pound , making this our BEST EVER days fishing on the river for Chub !

    Cracking session that Rob. You could try that on another day and catch nothing . That's the river for you. Ive got the 12ft power feeder n guage.. lovely rod.

    Can i chuck barbel ground bait and pellet out and still use meat on the hook ive never fished for them gonna try next week

  • Just found you and subscribed. Have you thought of using a short stubby self cocking float or don't you think they are necessary as you don't seem to have missed many? Will give it a go this season. Thanks for the heads up on this method.
