No, that isn't Erik's baby crying in the background of some parts of this breakdown, it's the creepy voice of Storm returning from our breakdown of Ep 1, lol
  • The last scene with Bastion's monologue and shaving Magneto... Thats how you write a villain to be actually scary.
  • @pjny21
Nightcrawler's eulogy was so incredibly beautiful.
  • Everyline in nightcrawler's eulogy was like a punch to the face of my emotions.
  • When rogue lets out that devastating cry it just about brought me to tears. Hit hard
  • @LanceCartmell
The Bastion sighting is gonna make the end of the year review 😅
  • @grownmannn2
You see that rider kick rogue did. That shit straight out of marvel vs capcom and X-men vs street fighter
  • The most hilarious part of this entirely depressing episode: Scott: “Jean! You get the building! I got the debris” Jean: proceeds to do it all and be a badass

As a Pittsburgh native, I started tearing up hearing beast quote Mr. Rodgers, I totally called I out before he finished
  • @Mrvegas6666
I may be bias because I loved X-men as a kid but this series is perfect. brings me so much joy.
  • @StepfordCuckoo
I think the butterflies are likely another symbolic tie in to the possible use of time travel and alternate realities, using the metaphor of the "butterfly effect" and the flapping of a butterfly's wings to signify a small change in the past to cause a large ripple effect into the future.
  • @jiffypoo5029
Mystique was helping Magneto from the inside at the UN as Val. Why in the 7 hells would Mystique help kill 800,000 mutants?
  • Bastion giving Magneto that "The Color Purple" treatment with that razor like how Whoopi Goldberg did Danny Glover. So many Easter eggs in this episode!
  • @TheThird1977
I had teary eyes at multiple points this episode, but when Rogue WAILED in Nightcrawler's arms it was full on weeping.
  • It's all gonna be okay, folks. We got time travel. But seeing Rogue fall apart like that broke me.
  • @madelinechung
Nightcrawler’s eulogy mentioning potential is a callback to the description of Gambit’s mutant ability to turn an object’s potential energy into explosive kinetic energy, which makes no sense from a physic’s standpoint but sounds sciencey and cool.
  • @b.friedman9278
Rest in peace to gambit, Madalyn and leech, but how the hell did magneto survive that??
  • @roach7000
When Scott is talking about dreams he’s referring to Xavier’s dream of humans and mutants living together peacefully
