They paid so much respect to the source material in the new movie coming out its insane! Mario’s got a high bar to beat! Mario might actually beat Sonic in the movie department, key word: might.

you gotta appreciate how the final boss of sonic is literally the first boss of sonic mania

the first appearance is always the most nostalgic

The movie design is primarily based on two of Eggman's robots. The Death Egg Robot from Sonic 2 in terms of it's physical likeness and the Gaint Eggman Robo from Sonic 3 and Knuckles in terms of it's weaponry and being powered by the Master Emerald.

Props to this man for having to go through Sonic 4 just to show us the boss

7:11 I always love that joke. Mainly because Dr. Eggman always uses it in Sonic The Hedgehog 2, Generations, and 4: Episode I.

Oh my god, that looks almost exactly like the Death Egg Robot but more ominous! Respect, Paramount! I'm looking forward to it.

Death egg robot in Sonic mania: oh hey Sonic, just thought I'd bust out this giant robot a little sooner than usual

The new movie was fantastic. Looking forward to the new adaptation of the lore!

Fun fact: in the original Sonic 2, the Death Egg Robot was called "Death Egg". Yes, it was called like the colossal space ship.

If Sonic was using his full speed at the beginning of the video, then that means that Dr. EggM is as fast as Sonic.

She updated the list and I'm happy for that, the live-action Death Egg Robot should have been is there when the movie came out, but I'm happy it was there. Edit: Also it would be cool if the live-action Death Egg Robot could transform into the actual Death Egg itself, due to the girth and size, being the largest Death Egg Robot we've seen, but I doubt that will happen in the movie

I had a small hunch that the DE Robot would be in the second movie… But I didn’t think it would be THAT HUGE!!! It’s less like the original DE Robot and more Kyodai Eggman Robo size!

Has no one ever stopped to think that egg man is literally the only HUMAN that can out run sonic the literal fastest hedgehog alive?!

"It's like the fourth time you've used it!" Sonic, you have a good memory! Although, to be fair, compared to the number of adventures you've had, (and I don't just mean the games CALLED Adventure) that's a pretty low number. Seriously, the number of games you were in is just wild. And hell, one of the games that featured it was intended to be a retrospective of your more notable games, so it made sense.
