  • Unfortunately poor Lindsay was too trusting. Also, many people fear being rude by making their disinterest obvious. Better to be perceived as rude than to be polite (or trusting) and end up dead.

If you're being followed go to a departement store or a library to lose your stalker instead of Going home
  • If and when I have an unsettling first encounter with someone, a stranger, I always say to myself, and sometimes to the person in question, “I can’t meet you this way”. I’ve always considered it a defense mechanism, and judging from the story in this video I feel reaffirmed in this method- telling a person outright that their behavior is unacceptable may in some cases be blatant enough to derail a potential threat leaving no room for coercion on their part.

Tatsuya missed his calling as an Olympic sprinter apparently. Fastest man in Tokyo.

This was one tragic case and one of the most brutal I've heard about. Can't imagine how guilty the taxi driver might feel. Glad this girl's family got justice. Let's hope he never gets released from prison.
  • I really enjoy listening to these stories. It's obvious that you put a lot of hard work into these videos, and I love your voice!

so somebody randomly comes up to you and says you’re their English teacher, and you don’t recognize them then they run after you while you’re on a bike and you show them to your apartment and let them in and after they draw a sketch of you. you still remain in contact with this person. you meet them in a coffee shop and you get in a taxi with them and then you go back to their apartment.
  • Man I wish she could of survived for her family. 💔 She seemed like such a nice person and I hate when terrible people take advantage of nice people's kindness. Ugh.

I'm coming back to this video now with a new memory: Just last week, when I went to a gas station to run and errand for my grandparents, a woman came into the store that looked FRIGHTENINGLY like Lindsay Hawker. I did a double take and had to make sure I wasn't looking right at her because I knew my mouth was open and I didn't want to stare. It honestly startled me just how similar they looked, even when I knew it wasn't her. It's just one of things that happens at random and I'll likely never see her again. The universe works in mysterious ways.
  • Wow, those parents are the real ones. ‘No, I don’t want your blood money’.. I hope this jerk gets what’s coming to him, and soon. Good video, never heard of this horrible story
  • Justice was not done here. I'm willing to bet he will have more victims.

I just cannot believe she still decides to do buisness with the guy even after all that stalking and weird shut he did, so sad 😔
  • @Cody-ps3wy
I hope tatsuya doesn’t ever get released if he is that would give Lindsay’s family so much more pain and grief as they have to endure her killer being set free. It’s currently 2022 and tatsuya is now or in the coming months going to be allegeable for parole

Very well researched and made. Well done❤️

Your take on two crimes in Japan were intriguing and excellent. Having been a young American woman on her own there, I can see that I narrowly escaped a extremely dangerous situation with some Yakuza that I met in a coffee shop I randomly visited. Your video brought back memories that I was able to consider with new insight. Thank you.

What the heck is with criminals who write their manifesto
