The Ritz London Afternoon Tea in Ritz London's Palm Court is one of the most famous British afternoon tea experiences in all of London, if not the world. It is a posh experience and a jacket and tie is required. Mick Jagger was once even almost refused service for not being properly dressed! We have had afternoon tea at The Plaza Hotel in NYC before, but never the Ritz's, so we'll be seeing if one of the best afternoon teas in London is worth the hype!
Everyone knows the legacy of the Ritz and its "Ritzy" Afternoon Tea, but is it worth the hype or is it just living off its reputation at this point? As always, this is the question we seek to answer on UA Eats. Tune in and find out!

Ima be honest. I follow lots of food review guys. When you popped out of nowhere I just thought you were a geeky ordinary YouTuber. I gave you a try and all of a sudden I’ve been enjoying your videos ever since 1 year ago.

UA, split the scone in half lengthwise, then add a nice thick layer of clotted cream and jam one on top of the other. This is the way it’s meant to be experienced.
-
Split the scone in half, apply jam, then apply the clotted cream, if you're unsure look at how other diners are eating. For reference yes you apply lots of clotted cream that's the whole point.
-
Well UA is certainly stepping up his game,......from the best cheesesteak in Philly to afternoon tea at The Ritz.
-
Clotted cream is always served cold with an ice cream like consistency. It's what I look forward to when I'm in the UK. It's very unique.

You know Tina is in charge in this relationship 😆.. Gotta keep the wife happy!

Great video, UA. Welcome home to you and Tina. Looking forward to next UK video as well as Beijing

Have had High Tea at the Ritz before, several times. The ambience is incredible. Can be a little overwhelming. The food, basically the same as in many other places. My favorite spot in New York is the Gotham lounge. They don’t let it get crowded, which suits me well. Small space, couches, comfortable, unhurried. Good food, very laid-back No need to get dressed up. Always told my daughters to meet me there at a certain time without fail. I would get there 15 minutes early to have an espresso and Sambuca at the bar. Then I would pretend I just got there to enjoy some nice tea, finger sandwiches and scones. So I’m not really a connoisseur.

Poor Tina got half her slice of cake😂

BRO IS GOING INTERNATIOANL

I grew up in Ireland and England. Yorkshire Tea/PG Tips are probably the best tea's in England. Barrys tea is the best tea in Ireland. You have to drink all of these teas with milk. Great video brother.

A final observation about this video. I went back and re-watched his afternoon tea at the Plaza Hotel in NYC. Bottom line much better video than this time around. If he had read a lot the the comments from viewers on the Plaza video, he would have known how to eat the scone properly.

Tina's grumpy because you took a second bite of her chocolate cake 🤭🤭🤭
-
WHOA.....did you just cast some shade on english tea...at the Ritz no less?
-
I love your reviews, UA! Its a great idea and you execute it well just by doing what you like. What a blessing you can share it with Tina as well!

Where's John Belushi when you need him? "FOOOOOOOOD FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT!"

Earl Grey would have been a wiser choice

Another amazing video!! My wife and I have been to the Ritz for tea twice. I totally agree with your review. Food is very good but not extraordinary. But everyone should go to the Ritz at least once. My daughter goes to school in Paris and I keep telling her to go for tea.

You have certainly come a long way. Good video. Enjoyed it very much.

Great introduction! Enjoy your videos! The elegance of afternoon tea deserves better sandwiches but so be it! The two cakes sound very inviting!
