Thomas needs to be removed, or at a minimum, kept from these kinds of decisions on this matter. His wife is in the middle of all of it. We're just pretending at "unbiased" at this point.

I am old enough to remember the way he threw Anita Hill under the bus. The way she maintained her dignity and integrity in the face of his lewd, throughly inappropriate cracks, creating a hostile work environment for her, and more. PS And, Thomas STILL wound up on the SCOTUS.

Thanks, O'Donnell. This is HIGHLY important. Why didn't any of the media experts tell us about this statute before? All the experts have led us to believe that recusal was purely an "ethical" matter, that failure to recuse was perfectly legal.

We need to stop all lifetime positions in government and we need a better way to nominate and remove supreme court justices.
