The CLK63 is one of my favorite Mercedes designs. At a quick glance to non enthusiasts, it looks like a normal C class with some extra bits but is so much more than that and it sounds amazing.

The naturally aspirated Mercedes 6.2 V8 exhaust note is one of the most brutal, yet magically sounding exhausts.

The lines & proportions of this car are just beautiful. A perfect balance of styling & performance. Having TK show us the car was a real treat. I can't believe that Jay left him behind at the garage!

Tommy’s comment about guest drivers trying to impress him, reminds me of a similar line from Derek Bell at a Porsche Driving Experience day in 1991, when he said “Don’t try and impress me - I have won Le Mans 5 times. I can go out on my own anytime and prove that adrenaline is brown”

Man, I'll never forget when these first came out. I was walking to my bus stop and this one was sitting at a light, waiting to make a right onto ventura blvd. It had the optional aero with the wing and everything. He floored it and slid out onto ventura and it hooked and he just slammed out of there. It was amazing to see one right when they came out, but the sound, the way it hooked and looked will always be something I'll remember. I was just replaying it over and over in my head the whole bus ride.

This car really is everything. I drove the hell out of a 2013 when I used to work at a Ferrari dealer. It has absolutely amazing performance. It's like putting on an Iron man suit. You feel invincible when you drive this car.

Thank you Jay Leno. This was one of your best. The mutual respect and chemistry between you and Tommy Kendall, his modesty about his racing career and a car you both liked. Pure entertainment. Mr Tommy Kendall, from an Aussie-respect, you didn't just drive at Bathurst you came 8th and the 7 cars ahead of you contained an honour roll of legends. I confess I had not heard of you before but I know who you are now sir.

This is my favorite era of AMG’s this together with the CLK DTM is my favorite AMG ever. These engines had the headbolt issue. Nevertheless the most understated, timeless and beautiful AMG’s ever. In my opinion.

Had a 2011 AMG C63 sedan. Looooved that vehicle. The power, the sound... absolutely epic.
