One of the reasons I think Will Smith is one of the only celebrities to successfully transition to Youtube is because he doesn’t attempt to create this false image of relatability or ‘down to earthness.’ He’s an extraordinary person with an extraordinary career and he’s willing(no pun intended) to give us a sneak peak into his life. Not with this filter of “hey, I’m just like your average YouTuber” but with the investment he can afford to put into making creative content. Another name that springs to mind is Kevin James.
