This happens every year in CA you would think they would have proper forest management in place. But, they don't. The last time I visited several of their hiking trails were in horrible condition. The paths were in bad shape and so many dead trees left standing, many fallen trees just left to rot away. They need to hire some people from Ohio to come fix their problems. SE Ohio has some of the best trails in the country for hiking. They take great care of their paths, keep the woods cleared, and make sure its safe for us hikers. CA is always talking about carbon credits, electric cars, and solar power. Do they realize the amount of CO2 they put in the air each year letting these fires burn out of control, or even start in the first place? Their governor is a joke but is always on TV talking like he is the greatest thing to happen to the state. I only feel sorry for those who voted against Newsome because the other people who did vote for him, voted for this to happen so they can deal with their poor choice.

With all the smoke that California sends over to Idaho every season, they should pay us carbon taxes. (Just sayin')
