3:56 - "People don't look in some places, and there is treasure there" what a beautiful thing to say

It's incredible how, once you break the language barrier, you realize how similar we all are. Sure, customs and cultures can vary wildly but we all still laugh, love, dance, sing, eat, tell stories, create, etc. Despite it all, humanity is so cool.

  • Speak, eat, travel, learn. Ari your ability to learn languages is matched by your empathy and respect for cultures...whether in the home country or with the diaspora in the US. The warmth and respect you receive, and the genuine surprise at your language learning is fantastic to see.

The best thing about these videos, is that people instantly become friendlier when they realise you've taken the time to learn and respect their languages.

Moses would be proud. I teared up when you made that tribute for him after he passed. I don't usually get sad at those type of things, but Moses' untimely death got to me. I loved watching all his videos because when he spoke in someone's native language, their entire demeanor changed and their personality shined through. You capture the same things in your videos and I love them because of it. Keep it up bro, and thank you for carrying on Moses' torch. The light is bright and warm and direly needed on my feed. <3
  • Xiaoma is responsible for probably hundreds of thousands of grandkids getting lectured on why they can't learn the language also.

I love the group of Nigerians in the first clip. The last thing the man says is so good. "Some people don't look in certain places, but there is treasure there!" What a quote.

Witnessing the joy that speaking someone's native tongue brings is just priceless!! Seeing that pride these people have in their heritage, and Xiaoma showing them that reverence and demonstrating that he took the time to learn, it's absolutely beautiful... it makes me more emotional than I'd like to admit. ❤❤❤

The first gentleman with the black shirt recording you had the biggest smile ever, it was adorable. So happy to see love spread around the world like this

I love the way he completely immerses himself in the culture. He’s so respectful and genuinely curious about the people, the food, traditions, etc. What a great ambassador he is!
  • You should do one with how many times a woman had asked you for Marriage 😂😂
  • The Maasai part has always been my favourite episode and great seeing it again.

The love that you share for language being open to trying, stumbling, persevering and seeing them help you is so endearing. Knowing that people appreciate the attempt is so heartwarming to know and must inspire you to keep trying more.. that snowball effect of positive experiences. If only everything else in life was full of this love for sharing, laughter and learning together ❤
