Funny you bring up Young Thug. I actually got some free tickets to J Cole's concert some years ago and I believe it was the same tour you are referencing. Young Thug was one of the opening acts and he rocked the crowd harder than J Cole when he rapped his verse on Ain't About The Money.

Bro I’m with you I’ve always thought J. Cole was boring asf. Especially when compared to Kendrick. Kendrick is next level and the comparison the people make between the two is laughable. However, IMO Big Sean kinda has lame bars and isn’t very “moving” either, so I’d have to disagree with you there

J Dull is what I call him. He is boring and is an easy go to name for people who pretend to know about hip hop music. I love lyricism and he rarely raps profound bars. He is a gimmick and ive listened to all his albums. Big Sean is definitely better without question...

Bro 2 chainz went to college and played basketball Graduated, and J.I.D went to college on a football scholarship and ur points is, I could understand y u say he’s boring, but saying he went to college doesn’t mean anything, he had student loans and his mother barely could afford it, and she was in a abusive relationship with his step pops and she was on drugs, so how’s that a good aside of him making money off raps

He brings nothing new to the table. Another formulaic conscious rapper who's not even consistent with his message. How many times does he step out of that humble image in his song and talks about regular flexing about his money, chains, girls etc... Listen to him on Bablo boat with Royce and how he just says generic sh** while Royce is telling a story. He does the same on 24k of gold with Big Sean too

He sucks. I feel J. Cole and Kendrick are heavily pushed by others but I believe the rappers that push them dont really listen to them. Something dont add up. Just like Jay-Z no one actually listens to him... they just go with what everyone says.
