Rei Yasuda commented: "I wanted to sing about life.
I wanted to sing about my life.
For the past 10 years, I have had many waves of emotions, some I rode well, some I almost drowned in, and somehow I made it this far without knowing how to swim.
I wanted to sing about the past, which was so clumsy, and the present, which is caught between an unpredictable future and the past, in words that are not pretty or boastful.
In the past, I would have been too embarrassed to write lyrics about such things, but now I have reached an age where I can accept this weakness and want to live in my own rhythm. I think it is proof that I have grown up, not as a little number, but as an adult in my heart.
Lost and conflicting feelings are always there, no matter where you are.
But if you accept it just a little, saying, "This imperfection is proof that I am living today," you may see the landscape differently.
I am happy to be able to write a song about this precious thought with you, Yaffle. Let's write songs together again!

This song was written on the day I met Ms. Rey for the first time in the studio. This is fire.
