There are few things as rewarding as earning the trust of a dog who's been let down by humanity. It takes time and patience, but it's absolutely worth it. Taz is one lucky girl.
  • @cleverjohn7884
There is no way with how well you trained and took care of that baby that anyone is questioning you on your pet skills. Ignore them. We see your heart, but more importantly, you know your heart! I'm happy to see you back in the groove!

Blue was awesome and you’ll forever have your memories of him. I love watching Taz come out of her shell. No doubt she’s becoming the dog she’s meant to be. Seeing her step into protector mode is ahhhmazing!!! She’s very clearly a total sweetheart.

We stop what we are doing when Ria post a video.. I was in the middle of making some cereal now it’s soggy.. But it’s okay. it’s a Roaming Reckless video!
  • 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 You’re back! Missed your beautiful face, smile, humor, your videos & of course Taz. ❤
  • So happy you got the painting of Blue safely..He was SO LOVED. Taz is LOVED too! She will be a huge comfort for you while you remember Your travels with Blue. love you! Donna from Cali :) :)

Every dog has its own personality, just like little children. You just cant compare them. I agree with you, @Roaming Reckless. People need to give you a break!

Tia - I rescued a beautiful pup who has lived in my home with a picket fence and AC for two years. He’s still anxious. He’s gotten better but it takes time. His personality is very different from the 13 year old girl we had to put to rest 4 years ago. Taz will adjust and be happy so long as she’s with you. ❤
  • I love how Taz is opening up, affectionate and becoming protective. She has the best Mom!

It has been such a rough week. Thank you for posting, Ria 💙

You're exactly right about having different relationships with each animal you have...dog, cat, etc. I've watched your videos for quite a long time and can tell you're very in tune with your dogs and that's the most important thing. Blue was a very special boy. And Taz is adorable.

It was nice seeing the gifts that people made in memory of Blue.
  • @ahikinglife
Taz looks like she's coming out of her shell so much 😮❤❤❤
  • People need to stop and realize that not only is it’s two different dogs, but Taz is a red dog and a rescue and skittish. It’s going to take her longer to get in the groove rescued a dog who had been abused. I’ve had him for three years now and he’s just getting where I leave him off leash, so people stop with the harsh comments give them all the love and support that they need✌🏽💜🙏🏽

You are doing great with Taz. Have a Jack Russell who is almost 7 and it took him a couple years to be trusted off leash. A good bond and trust goes a long way. He leads stays on trail most times and always looks for me so I don't get lost 😂
  • @taysezz
When Ria cries or talks about Blue, I tear up too. 😢 I'm sure I'm not the only one. ❤ Also got super excited to see you posted a new video. Favorite part - Taz commentary. I literally starting laughing so hard!! Can't wait for your next video!
  • @cindyinscho6322
you are spot on. every dog is different. tax is beautiful she will learn. love your spirit keep going. don't let trolls bring you down. thank you for sharing your experience
  • So happy to see you, Ria 😊... And I think taz is still getting her sea legs 😊... She'll be a camping dog eventually ❤ 🐕... I love every video you post 💕

OMG! I wouldn't have lasted two minutes there. You are determined. And dogs do take time to bond. I adopted a 2 year old Mini Aussie, and the previous owner told me NEVER let him off leash. He will bolt. Sadly, a door blew open behind me and off he went. I searched for three days, used every social media platform. I did find him. It took a full year for me to feel comfortable and fully bonded. Bodie, my Aussie, had never been in a house, never been on a leash. It was a huge change for him. He is now by my side constantly. Loves, loves road trips and camping. I love your videos. Keep pushing thru!
