Samsung Buds3 Pro review reveals they heavily mimic Apple AirPods design, facing quality control issues and shipment halts. Despite controversy, Samsung Buds3 Pro earbuds offer features like seamless Android pairing, excellent audio quality, and transparency mode. Is it possible that there’s a true AirPods competitor on the Android side? Were the previous-generation Buds2 Pro the way to go with these being a mimicry or a poorer design? Find out all of that and more in this audiophile’s review of the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro as compared to the Apple AirPods Pro 2.

NOTE: something I’d like to clarify because it was stated in video, but only briefly… (1) you have to pair to every device individually with these buds—even if registered to Samsung Account (which may be a bug, but that is what happened, (2) once paired, there is SEAMLESS handoff between Samsung devices (just as you’d get with Apple devices), however, (3) neither the AirPods nor Buds support true multi-point Bluetooth which is an abomination in 2024 and Samsung copying the worst part of Apple’s ecosystem lock-in is not cool—especially considering I think there are fewer Samsung-everything users in the world than Apple-everything. As a Samsung fan, I don't like these earbuds visually, the new co-CEOs that started in 2021 have taken Samsung Electronics to a weird place where they prefer to copy stuff rather than make their own new stuff...

The way Samsung mobile is acting leaves me feeling like they are happy being the (Insert Apple product here) we have at home. From their products to their packaging they seem to be comfortable living in second place.

One issue with multipoint is it really affects the audio quality. Because basically the device needs to maintain a low level connection with both devices and that take bandwidth and then the actual audio channel. For the first multipoint devices sometimes it’d randomly switch onto that low quality connection instead of a higher quality connection and it’d become super robotic. Still love the feature, every Bluetooth audio device should have it.

Of all the review that I watched, no one mentioned that this thing didn't have multipoint support, guess I'm sticking with my Anker A40

Damn! He called out Samsung and their shameful Temu-looking knockoffs. It's no wonder Samsung's chairman is furious with their mobile division after being named and shamed. 🤣

When other brands do, their clones...when Apple is reinvented lol
  • @sydguitar99
If they release them in matte black and not that cheap plastic finish, EASY BUY Edit: also the QC issue they are facing also shows they're cheaply built
  • 6:40 No. You can find them in the case. The buds send out a bluetooth signal every 5 minutes while in the case so you just have to wait until the next signal
  • @BooredAtWork
forgot to mention built in EQs. so you can have that Airpods sound with better drivers
  • @taratays
I love how brands want you to forget that sound must be in the first place in the headphones
  • @crenshawyeo
this is peak “mum i want airpods. we have airpods at home”
  • Oh the Apple automatic switching sucks for me. I’m in a recording studio and whenever I try to check an Atmos mix, it’s switches to my Mac computer. Then I switch it back to my phone (where the bounced material is) then it switches back again and Logic has a meltdown about the output device. I have to keep manually switching, It’s such a pain! Anyway, my use case may be somewhat unlikely for most.
  • @Zolli07
The mention on the LED colors, honestly... Man, if you see almost any charge indicator LED it almost every time red/orang and green because we as humans understand that colors easily. Apple can capitalize on color indication, in that logic apple copied traffic lights?
  • @helloworldytacc
I don't understand why you would still prefer airpod's for their mid range sound despite the buds3pro having a well implemented equaliser. Objectively, the dual driver are better and the bit rate is higher, so you should get whatever sound you are looking for.

I have these and lovvvve them! I have the silver ones and think they look great, I've not any issues with the ear tips, I've literally never turned the lights on, I've never had any issues activating any of the touch controls, and they sound ahmayzing! Especially with the "Dynamic" equalizer setting.
