We spent a few days with relatives in the Lake District so decided to have a drive to Grasmere for a look around. It's a nice place but completely over run with tourists (yes I get the irony that we were tourists too), Its difficult to park, over priced and doesn't seem to have a decent pub!

I love Cumbria and the Lakes. Lovely place. I live in the Midlands and going up there is like being in another world.

As soon as James had his mini rant about parking and people I smashed that like button 😅 I mean I hit it every episode but I had to raise a tiny grin after that opening.. He’s like me.. Not anti social just don’t like people 🤣 Cracking vid as always guys! Looking forward to the next one! 🤙🏻

The look on the face with the pink brolly when you had bought your fleeces and was passing him was priceless LOL

Another great video, your best work is when you are both in the pub! Followed by a long scenic walk the next day. You compliment each other so well! Keep the videos coming.
  • I live and work in the Lakes, it can be challenging getting around in the summer holidays, but it’s a lovely place for people to visit. Glad you enjoyed it.

I don't know why but every time I think of the Lake district I think of Bowness and the beautiful lake at Windermere. One of our first holidays in 1975 as a young newly married married couple. Camping in a field in a hired commer van . Happy days

Great video again, you two are funny. It's like being there with you. Lovely scenery
  • I crave getting out in my van and having a few pub crawls after watching this. Going off up to N. Yorks coast in October. Your vids have given me some ideas. Missing the North. Down to earth and crap weather. Gotta love the coast in a storm. The drama of it. Improves the chips after and the cosy pints. Keep the vids coming.

Oh James, it really wasn’t for you was it. At least you can console yourself with an expensive pint in a pub. I was shocked at the price, not being a drinker myself. Never mind - that’s life and you show it in all its glory. Another very watchable video for us. 💕💕💕

Enjoyable video as always. Nice finish with the drone shots

Oh James, your 'I am really trying to be patient' face, really cracks me up. It'll never work. Helen is Helen. I'd read everything too, (especially if I knew it would annoy my partner.) 😅😅😅
