As painful as Rav not buying a pipe and Sophie missing that star on the last turn are at the end of the day they were meaningless in terms of the result. Because Dan had the coin tie breaker on both of them (Rav could have had it if he was able to win the last minigame and Dan lost it but that wouldn't have been the case if he bought a pipe and a star) someone needed to win both bonus stars in order to beat Dan. So Dan winning slowpoke bonus just immediately secures him as the winner of the game regardless of those outcomes. Just to make you all feel better lol.
