What lockdown? Many businesses are closed but there are still a lot of people out on the street. This morning I popped out to the shop and there were many cars on the road and many people out and about- Even more when there is sunshine. The lockdown has only ever been a partial lockdown. There are lots of people still roaming the streets.

This should be titled "has England got the worst coronavirus crisis in the uk"
  • @chrisevans5259
I would describe the Uks reaction and response to tackling the coronavirus as,........ Shambolic,...lacking guidance clarity, and with poor scientific advice, overall the government have been totally inept at dealing with the pandemic
  • It's a damn disgrace. Just letting them die, without even sending them to hospital for treatment ! This Government is failing our elderly. They should have reacted sooner. Instead off waiting and waiting for the Government to get their hands from their backsides 🤬

The other day a guy down my street had all his friends round for a party what’s the point in me and my wife staying indoors for 6 weeks.

This government makes me feel sad to be English
  • With a government that were originally going down the 'herd immunity' route coupled with a quasi lockdown, these figures are to be unfortunately expected. Italy and Spain both warned of this

It’s Britain: all pageantry and no real substance.

Why the number of recovered corona patients in the UK is N/A ?
  • @danny1884
I wish it was just constant Brexit news again.

I'm not surprised England is doing the worst, the population density is highest in Europe, London being the 2nd largest city in western Europe. It's also thanks to people not listening to recommendations. Look at the people in Birmingham they're still roaming around the city for no legitimate reason
  • @Tommo0706
Why does he sound so surprised at the ‘excess numbers’ maybe it’s because million of people aren’t getting treatment or medical attention for other conditions
  • @kodexik
Great country but dissapointed in goverments decision making and people stupidity.

That graph for England is shocking. It's got a long way to come down before this lockdown is over.

It could be the incredible fear putting a massive stress on the vulnerable

I think that these people who are dying are getting listed as dying from coronavirus without even having a autopsy to determine if it is that, which I think is a absolute disgrace
