  • I stamp into a versamark ink pad first to protect my stamp and the mica sticks to the details of the stamp beautifully Thankyou for the inspiration
  • TBH you said you made a mess but I really like that piece as well, looked like watercolor :) great job on all of them!
  • I have used stamps for 25 years or more....you can use your finger to gently tap the powder onto the stamp... or perhaps use permanent ink onto the stamp and stamp cured resin. allow to dry. and perhaps another layer of clear resin. you'll get a sharper image that way
  • I have a lot of stamps, never realised I could put them in the resin. I haven’t made any cards for ages so it’s a great way for me to use my stamps. Thanks for experimenting with these and showing us Daniel. I think the tree looks awesome in all of the moulds you did, even the one you said was a fail. I love your channel and videos. Thank you so much.

I would suggest, because I've seen other creators use stamps, using the lotion to "seal" the stamp, facing up, on the bottom of the empty mold. The lotion would just be a thin layer on the stamp to seal the back and keep the resin from getting underneath. Then you can use regular resins. Then just dome the back. And if you use a stamp block to press the stamp into the micas... you'll get a clean "inking". Just a few thoughts. I love the way you always experiment, and subscribed to see all your great ideas, especially because they make me think of different ways to resin! 😁
  • Works to put mica on ur finger and then on the stamp...I've also stuck them down to mold then poured resin...then peel the stamp out afterwards....so many possibilities!!!
  • Love this idea! Thanks for experimenting all the failures and pressing on to this one! 💖
  • THANK YOU! I have so many rubber stamps, now I have to try this. Thank you for inspiring all of us, you are such a blessing.
  • Where have you been all my life? You are capturing everything I have ever wanted to do. Stunning as afways
  • @deborahol
I heard your name being mentioned on another resin channel Daniel. I thought that was great and worth mentioning. All your designs and creations are brill and I also love how humble a person you are. It's lovely to see someone remaining the same, no matter how many subs they aquire. Best wishes for Christmas & new year to you and yours.
  • Omgeee I adore this, thanks so much Daniel, I have loads of rubber stamps I can play with…thank you for not only the trail and error tutorials but for the constant new inspiration! I love the idea of making coasters🤩🤩
  • I use nail stamps. And also nail stickers. Sometimes both, together!!!
  • I use Stayzone inks, you can get many different colours, but loving your mica powders, and the iridescent effect that it gives.
  • Love this idea. Even your mistake looks good to me. Thanks for sharing
  • @kj7238
I have so freaking many of those paper-crafting stamps and this is a great way to use them! Thank you for this! Great idea!
  • I like the first reject you showed. The tree looks like it's full of crows. Really cool technique. I think you could also place the stamp at the very beginning and then add resin. When you demold, remove the stamp, then dome the piece.
  • The trunk of the tree came out well! It almost looks like a little fence surrounding it. Awesome idea, thanks for exploring it.
  • Wow that's amazing. Who would know you could use stamps I am going to try this
