Is The Camaro SS 1LE The Poor Man's Porsche GT3 RS?
For a long time, people consider the Camaro SS 1LE slow due to its curb weight but this 6th Generation Camaro SS 1LE by Chevrolet seems to punch above it weight class and is on par with a 2011 Porsche GT3 RS for 300K or less. Even if you modify the Camaro its up there with a 2024 Porsche GT3 RS..
Obviously I like the Camaro fanboy but facts is facts. Were not talking straight like performance. Thats just a HP battle.
Talking strictly a performance per dollar value, how it behaves/handles on track, and lap times with the Camaro SS 1LE vs the Porsche GT3 RS

Lol This video made me miss my Playstation, also made me miss my SS 1LE too! I agree with you though I literally drove a 991 Porsche 911 Carrera S and then drove my SS 1LE afterwards and I felt like the SS 1LE was more fun to drive.

The SS 1LE out the box is unmatched in value. Porsches are cool but their manuals suck unless it’s a GT car. The PDK is amazing though.

I feel like the “poor man’s porsche” is a porsche 718🤷♂️ (the old one).

C7 GS is the poor mans porsche. Camaimro has better steering feek and easier to drive at the limit than the C7 VS though. C7GS is a bargain even at $60k used. I track a 6th gen camaro ss. FBO, 19inch wheels and 200tw tires and a buch of other goodies.

Lol. No comparison. 911 is the best sports car ever made. Everyone knows it and has known it for 20 years. However they have gotten crazy expensive in the last 5 years. Hence the poor man’s alternative.

Not a chance. lol. I have a gen5 z28 and that is probably the best camera ever made and it’s still garbage compared to a Porsche
