Time under tension is a unintended consequence of intensity
  • Dorian’s lifting advice combined with Metzer’s will revolutionize your results. I’ve been training to intensity and I’ve gotten bigger faster than ever before

I listened to a great podcast today with the men from starting strength. Basically they’re saying that it’s not possible to get big without getting strong. Dorian was a massive man and he was incredibly strong.
  • Exact same thing I did 4 Day's of Training with a Max of one to one and a half hour ! I think the eating is the most important thing than comes training and than recovery !

When a 1 minute video is more useful than videos up to half an hour long chatting absolute shite. Nice one Dorian

Regarding the training method espoused by Yates, or any other top bodybuilders, the primary driver in their attainment of massive hypertrophy is muscle enhancing drugs. These professional bodybuilders would gain inordinate amounts of muscularity with many forms of training, whether by ntensity and/or volume, as long as they took steroids and related drugs.

Can you progressively overload when you workout alone? I can only workout to failure. I see many people have someone to give them that Extra push or pull to achieve progressive overload. But can that be achieved working out solo?

How do these guys say what they say with a straight face? 🙁😒

The problem is when you plateau at a certain weight. I was told by someone to try periodization. Go back down and do lighter weight and higher volume. I lowered the weight and went back up slowly. First 12 rep range the more weight then 10 the 8 or 6. It’s especially tough if you don’t have a spotting partner either.

10 reps 10 sets. By the 6th rep u should be struggling to get the last 4 up with a spotter. Your rest between each set is spotting your partner.
