It's not only the airline business. It's actually the hospitality business as well. Hotels are affected especially the HYATT do not come. We cannot check people in.
-
Can you imagine working at the Airport and all the passengers stranded are blaming you. Even. Thought it’s not your fault. I feel sorry for the workers.
-
How can CrowdStrike approve an update of this magnitude without proper testing first??
-
People are calling these people babies?? I dont understand. These people are rightfully upset. Imagine paying THOUSANDS of dollars to travel only for the airline to goof up IT wise. Many people may not get refunded for their hotels or other costs, losing out on a LOT of money. Others might not get their PTO back that theyve been saving up. It rly sucks for them

I truly hope she had cruise insurance 🙏
-
This was nation wide. Happened to government offices. Anyone that uses Microsoft…so many businesses went down.
-
As someone who has traveled many times to take a cruise I would be pissed too.

Didn’t some evil guy at the WEF “predict” this

What cracks me up is that people are still so suprised when something like this happens. It’s 2024 and EVERYTHING is broken. Tech has made EVERYTHING worse. You can’t do ANYTHING today without a snag or glitch or half assed service. I Keep things simple and stay at home. Society is collapsing.
-
I make my life simple and never fly. I haven’t flown since 2000. Trains do not seem appealing either. Home is the best place to be. Thank you God.
-
Blue screen of death???? Wow really

It’s a test run for what’s to come. They are maybe seeing how people will react for the first 24-48 hours

More proof that Microsoft pushing cloud based applications is not the smartest thing to do. We kept our back ups and files local. If the Internet went down at least we could still work.
