Thank you for sharing your experience. I watched this before my surgery and it helped alleviate my anxiety. It's been 4 months now post surgery and I'm doing well.

Hi, thanks for sharing. I had my surgery in the summer 2014 in BWH boston. At the first year I was not feeling good at all, but then I got used to it. Also, you are right about the smelling and tasting . In my case I feel like I lost my tasting and smelling senses slightly. Other people may not experience this because I did something horrible after the surgery. They give me a suction tube to suck the residual blood that coming from my nose and I kinda put it directly on the wound. This is stupid of me and I have to admit it. Moreover I was reading on the internet before I found your video on YouTube, I found out that people who have pituitary adenoma are tend to be avoidant and GAD. Prayers to all patients whom to have the procedure. Stay strong for those who already have the surgery.
  • Good video I'm getting surgery soon for my optic nerves I'm nervous not sure what all tubes I'll be hooked to

Thanks for sharing. How were you able to breathe while your nose was blocked after the surgery, did you breathe with your mouth, how easy was it to breathe with mouth?

Once again, I want to say how brave you are. You are a fantastic young lady! You are spot on. I hope you did not have to do radiation. Hold out for DNA correction. How are you now? I'm doing well in terms of the tumor, but now I fight andrenal issues and cannot return to full time work as an executive at Amazon. But I work on my inventions and patents and enjoy life as much as I can. You remind me of my wonderful daughter, who was with me the entire time. Now she is grown up with kids of her own now. I hope your life continues to go well. Thanks so much for doing the video. You are helping a lot of people here. I'm encouraged now to write my book involving this topic.

Hi Betty, I just had a telephone consult with one of the neuro surgeon here in Fontana Kaiser (california) and he was recommending a transphenoidal surgery as well like what You had. I was kinda scared while he’s explaining to me my MRI results but he said as soon as we get this done earlier much better so I would not experience any of the major symptoms like other do.. your video was helpful and giving me hope for my upcoming surgery.. please pray for me as well .. Thank you 🙏🏻
