Why Don't You Set Yourself Free?

So what's in it for you? Probably not much. I checked out of this modern society a long time ago. Consider doing the same.

  • I could not agree more.We are all living in a synthetic soulless society which taints the true meaning of life.
  • I downsized to a small home with a bit of land in the country. I work part time to pay my minimal bills. I have very few items that use electricity. I spend time enjoying nature and my chickens & ducks. I feel so much happier. Thanks for the inspiration, motivation, and truths

I’m a black female in North America (in my 30s) and I do like your content. I quit a high top tier career in the city, moved to the country and I went from $300 an hour to $21 per hour waiting tables just to pay my much lower bills. In the city I was financially abundant and deficient spirituality emotionally and psychologically. Since I quit the city life I am abundant spiritually, emotionally and psychologically; and I’m working on the financial part. I’ve never been this happy and content in my life. I need so much less to be happy, just the nature, the rivers, lakes and trails. I have 5chickens and 3 garden beds I’m proud of. So much nature so much peace. I also cut out people and things that subtracted from my peace.

I escaped Canada last year with my wife and two small boys. Sold our house, quit my job in the military, and now we're in a safer country living in the woods in a little village. I make maybe 1/10 of what I used to make in income, but we paid all our debts off and now we have a community, not just physically but a spiritual community that I have connected on a far deeper level than anything I've ever had while in the matrix. Our children are thriving more than ever.
  • I just quit my job last year, after 24 years as a teacher. Looking back I recognize what a waste of my life it was. I finally quit, when my boss, who had 10 years in education, tried to tell me how to do my job.. If I was a doctor, with 24 years experience, I would be an expert, detective.....construction worker....etc, but in teaching, you are always wrong. Teaching-The most toxic profession ever.
  • I lived in a single room in central run down Sydney, all concrete, rushing and misery, when I started watching you. Now I’ve set up an off grid life way up the river. Composting and fire wood. My life is beautiful. Thank you, Bjorn X
  • At 18 I realized that society's values were 180 degrees different from mine. What society valued...I dismissed. What I value was laughed at. I only realized that I had defined the problem. That's as far as I got. Now, I am 72 years old. I am so happy to have found you! I feel as if I am looking out of a prison and seeing someone who is free. Thank you.

Just had a divorce after 2 years of marriage, also found out my own father was a sexual predator, while I was still trying to repair from his abuse towards me. Nobody seems to be who I thought they were… so I snapped. I recently left everything, and now I live in my SUV while still working with just the bare minimum. In a way it hurt so much…. But I’m free, and more so… I’m alive. I’m saving up money so I can go as far away from this place as long as I can. The wilderness constantly pulls my heart, and I think I’ll finally go. Cheers.
  • @karenscoggins
I agree with you! I’ve detached for 12 years now and never been happier. I garden, connect with nature…care for my husband and multiple critters, enjoy my little piece of rural forest, have a few extraordinary friends and pray for my country. I am 75 years young and love the morning sunrise.
  • @BxLxZxBob
You are not a 'conspiracy theorist'. We are now referred to as 'Spoiler alertists', because it all comes true. You do know what is happening and I thank you for sharing with everyone.
  • @saxonmckenzie9260
I'm 36, live in the UK, desperately unhappy with most aspects of my life. Relationships are toxic, substance misuse, and really in need of a new way of life completely. Every single aspect needs to change, I'm thinking of just going off grid. I get out in nature daily and feel totally different when I'm out. Now your channel pops up. Think I have my answer, Thanks for the eye opening chat

I’m from Romania, grew up having grandparents at the countryside, raising chickens, ducks, seeding, weeding, harvesting, canning and pickling the fruit of our labour. Looking at the direction the world is going towards and the state of capitalist overconsuming greed…I’ve started reinvesting in growing more veggies and fruit at our country house, even if it’s far from the city and we can’t live there full time, but we can at least automate a drip system to water our crops in our absence. We also plan to buy more land to farm and work remotely exclusively. It’s hard work, but rewarding work. Living in fear of getting laid off every single year from every single job we have is…just not worth the stress and the enormous blow to our health. It’s easier to prevent health issues than it is to resolve them after they occur. It hits hard when I think about the state of the world. The many suffering at the hands of the few. Being programmed in schools to be a diligent worker, all for them to take most of the fruits of our labour and barely leave us with a living wage…It used to be that work value vs pay was an equal trade. It should be illegal to steal so many people’s fruits of labour to enrich oneself to the point of pointlessness, whilst the people who helped producing that wealth are struggling and can barely feed, clothe themselves and their families or keep a roof over their heads…

If you want to take away power from a toxic society, the best way is to withdraw. Same goes for dealing with toxic people. Thanks for the great content, Bjorn.
  • Back in the 1940:s we moved from a large city to a farm and I discovered the beauty and life affirming blessings of nature. I loved the gentleness of domestic animals and all they provided. Today I feel so homesick for a world that no longer exists. It's all gone; politically, socially, economically and spiritually. No I'm 88 with precious memories and a loyal wife and family as adequate compensation.
  • @sole__doubt
Because I dont have enough money to set myself free.
  • @filippk14
You are not a consipiracy theorist! You're just telling the cold hard thruth. Keep it up Bjorn, great content. Thanks!
  • @courtney1709
Thank you, Bjorn. Modern society holds nothing but emptiness for me, and has for years now. The mindless consumerism, wokeness, superficiality, rat race, etc. can go in the bin along with the garbage on TV, social media, etc. None of it has any value to me whatsoever. I cherish my small family and simple life. What makes me happy? Sitting under my big Maple tree and watching the Hummingbirds at my feeder after a walk in the woods. Nature is what truly heals the soul.❤️🌳
  • @IM_GB
2 hours a day on social media = 1 month, nonstop, a year! My sons and I did the math on this last night at dinner. Horrifying. I realized we’ve been duped.
