Eggs are good for you. No wait, eggs are bad for you! Well actually, eggs are good for you. Wait Wait!?? Are you as tired of this as I am? Eggs have been around for the entire existance of mankind on this planet, and we have eaten as many of them as we could get our hands on. But now, a new study in JAMA tries to raise new worries about eating eggs.

Eggs are almost a complete, super-food for humans. People have lived on eggs alone for years and been healthy the entire time. How then can we understand a new study trying to tell us that eggs might increase the risk of us dying? In this video I will deal with the question, Is Eating Eggs Bad for Your Heart? You might be surprised at my final point at the end of this video.

It is very important that we eat the foods that are good for us and avoid the food-like products that are bad for us. Are you ready? Let's dig in...

I have to weigh in here, I’ve been Keto for 9 months, down almost 50 pounds, fatty liver fully reversed, A1C 5.5, cardio up to 70 minutes a day 3 times a week, inflammation gone, love Keto and when I do my egg fast I eat 10 eggs a day for 3 days in a row and no heart attack! Dr.Berry keep up the excellent work, spread the news, big pharma is scared, Keto rocks!

I eat 3-6 whole eggs everyday. I have done so for the past 10 years. Eggs are the most digestible protein available on the planet along with a lot of other nutrients. Eggs are a perfect food with NO negative side effects. Anyone who tells you different is either ignorant or is lying to you. Dont listen to them
  • I can’t believe how my health has improved. I was riddled with inflammation of my joints and muscles and was unable to walk or do anything. After following this diet I am back to my old self and playing many sports at the age of 67. No medications anymore for inflammation. Thank you Dr. Barry.

I ate 10 Yolks yesterday, can't believe I'm still here to talk about it.

I've been eating 2 cartons of eggs per week for the last 8 weeks. My total cholesterol is down 4-fold, my triglycerides are down 20-fold, my blood pressure is down from stage 2 hypertension to ideal blood pressure. Oh, and I've lost 30 pounds. In 8 frickin weeks.
  • I’ve had various cholesterol readings over the years. Started monitoring it at 19 years old because of family history. My cholesterol has been as low as 179, as high as 275. The eggs never played a part in my cholesterol levels (if that even matters), but my fiber content made all the difference. When I eat a diet with tons of veggies, my cholesterol is fantastic, when I eat a bunch of processed carbs, devoid of fiber, my cholesterol shoots up. Just what I’ve noticed in monitoring my cholesterol for nearly 10 years now.

It’s nice to see doctors like you with the integrity; guts and medical common sense to take on and put an end to the mass hypnosis perpetrated by big food, pharma, and profit based medicine (not to mention the press and assorted medical associations). Respect!
  • @mboard67
I eat 3 to 6 eggs a day. Love them

I knew I can count on you ! My husband showed me the article today and I said “ not so fast , I need to see what Dr. Berry has to say ! “

What is very frustrating is that there are so many articles that claim that the Ketogenic Lifestyle is dangerous with no evidence or proof. I just read one that claimed that it was actually fat that is responsible for increased insulin but no evidence beyond making him "feel" bad after a few days on Keto. I love that you take the time to help educate people on the medical/scientific aspects of health. Have a great day.

I watched one of your videos 6 days ago and decided to start Keto in hopes to lower my A1C down from 5.9 and lower my triglycerides and LFT's. So far I am doing great on the diet, I have eaten about 8 eggs in 6 days. I'm going to continue eaten them. Thank you Dr. Berry.
  • Amazing how this "new research" comes out just as Keto is catching fire....hmmmm 🤔🤔🤔
  • @MannyQuacioua
I eat 4 eggs a day with Cayenne pepper, paprika, chopped up garlic cloves, and cheese and I feel fantastic!!!

It's so refreshing to find a person that only wants to help and who will tell the truth with sense and understanding when it comes to explaining medical information.GOOD FOR YOU and thank you.
  • @kinn4086
I ate 8 eggs/day during my high-intensity exercise phase. At the same time, I was having monthly blood tests for a medication I was taking. And I continued the blood tests for the next 1.5 years, after going back to 0-2 eggs/day. My cholesterol was within normal range on every blood test. So were my liver enzymes, and so were the basic values RBC WBC hemoglobin etc. Eggs are not the problem. What is your lifestyle? Are you frying the eggs, and in which oil? What else are you consuming? These are the same questions that make any studies on food consumption in human cohorts correlational at best. We cannot infer a causal relationship based on these studies.
  • One of my FB friends JUST posted this and I got your notification about this video while I was trying to reply to her....thank you Dr Berry!! And everyone hit that bell!

Ever since going over to a ketogenic diet, my breakfast is two omega-3 free range antibiotic/hormone free eggs, 1 1/2 slices of bacon, and a cup of dark roast java with a dollop of grass-fed butter, and I love it! Tastes great and fills me up. Lost 20 lbs in two months so far.
  • @ritabrunetti381
