Thanks for letting me represent the C4 ZR1! 👍
  • Bro, the content of this channel makes me feel so proud to be a car enthusiast

Had no idea the C6 ZR-1 sold that badly... what a shame. A dream car for me only beaten by a ACR Viper.
  • My favorite models have always been the ZR1s because of how overkill they are. In my mind, the zr1 represents what Europeans think of when they think of American excess, extra everything. More power, more downforce, more hood, more air, and more than you need. They're beautiful

From an European who will probably never see a C4 ZR1 in person - it's a stunning car with iconic looks!

It not only set the FIA 24 hour endurance record, but also set the 5K km and 5K mile records as well. They were only beat years later by a one off, purpose built, prototype race car, and I believe the records still stand to this day for a production car.

The LT-5 while designed by Chevrolet and Lotus was built by MerCruiser in Stillwater OK. Great Content !
  • @Lanse1984
The original design of the LT5 provided was supposed to surpass 500hp but GM shot it down as they wanted to keep the bore size and spacing of the 5.7.

The C7 ZR1 is just sick!!! As are the others but they got the looks perfect on the C7 ZR1.
  • Loving this! I’m currently looking for a C6 Z06 Carbon Edition because I love that LS7 but that LS9 is no joke.
  • @LockieNZ
I didn't realise that the C8 wasn't the first GM to have a DOHC V8! Very informative stuff! Have learnt something today!

LT-5 can make big power N/A. I've seen strokers do 6xxwhp. It was way ahead of it's time.
  • @fz0gtg
It’s been amazing to have worked in engine design engineering and engine manufacturing for the past 40 year, what a ride, no pun intended!
  • LS7 and LS9 were two of the best sounding V8s on top of everything else.
  • Yo this video is QUALITY! Great content, flow, visuals, audio. I could watch a hundred videos like this. KEEP THEM COMING!
