As a cadillac technician these cars are so sweet and easy to work on. The CT6 Blackwing V8TT was one of my personal favorites. Had to do a intermediate shaft bearing for howling noise at highway speeds. Amazing cars overall. Sad GM always cancels them after a few years.
  • I remember back in 2016 when I'm just chilling going 100mph on the highway when a V just blasts past me like I was standing still. Loved em ever since.
  • As a car and mechanical engineering enthusiast, all I can say is this is one of the best series of short highly detailed straight to the point facts videos I've seen. Keep up the amazing work, absolutely love it!

Bro you’re going places! Keep going you legend!

Did you know it was Cadillac that was the first manufacture to put magnetic ride control in to its cars. It was the 2002.5 Cadillac Seville STS that first came out with mag ride. Lot of people credit Ferrari or other manufactures and don’t realize it was the brand that was once called the standard of the world!

Yo I love the style of these videos with all the 3D models, and knowledge being spilled. There's nothing else like this for car guys right now. It would be cool if you did some for like older cars from like the early 90s back to the 60s. Maybe a thunderbird, mustang, 'Cuda, or trans-am video, either way don't stop your vids are awesome

I've owned a 2009 CTS-V sedan with a manual transmission for the last few years and I gotta say, I still absolutely love it; one of the most underrated/overlooked vehicles in my opinion. It's a great blend of speed and luxury (granted, not nearly as refined as most European vehicles) without breaking the bank in terms of price point, maintenance/service, parts/mods, etc. Currently undergoing an extensive build at the moment (built 416ci, Kong 2650, E85 w/ nitrous, etc.) and the idea of making >500hp stock let alone 4 digit horsepower figures in a 2-ton Cadillac sedan truly makes the CTS-V a modern-day sleeper.

Let's not forget how a CT5-V Blackwing was faster around Willow Springs Raceway than the M5 CS(Even though BMW said the quickest way around a track was AWD, and Cadillac just proved that theory wrong.)
  • Man you’re definitely a Powertrain expert your knowledge on car engines is off the charts!!!! Your Prodigy for real you literally break car engine down like a philosopher to the point us normal folks can comprehend and your presentation and illustrations could be used in Auto Tech Schools

Being an owner of a V2 CTS-V, it is the most fun vehicle I’ve ever driven. Sounds absolutely amazing, rides like a cloud, and looks stunning for its year (2013). This was an amazing video!

I like how Cadillac use turbo like bmw, we run through ignition coils every other year but the engines are super reliable

If you are looking to get into a V, I highly recommend the ATS V. I bought one about 6 months ago and its been amazing. The fact im piushing just under 580WHP with just DPs, e30, and a tune.will eventually be targetting 620+WHP with fueling mods next. They are pretty cheap to, yo can get a decent mile one for 30-40k

And fools keep saying American cars can't take corners.
  • @jonalirez6710
Finally got my hands on a V last year. Will keep it as long as possible (gas, parts and entropy permitting) given the move to EV.
  • @kdark54
Love these breakdown videos showing the explanations. Don't always understand it, but amazes me how much thinking and engineering has gone into these machines.

My mom had a 2013 V sedan and now has a 2019 V sedan and man are they f***ing crazy. The power on top of the luxury it comes with makes it a 10/10 car
  • Yo I’m damn near a super fan of your content bro. Keep me informed and dispelling any myths I might encounter at car meets. Like a teacher/big brother/mechanic all in one fasho
  • I saw a CT5-V Blackwing in a packed restaurant parking lot while getting out of my car and I immediately gave him my spot out of respect. Nice car man! Great channel!

I’m a die hard V fan, having a Gen 2. The Blackwing 5 is a handling maniac and delivers for those more interested in going fast from A to B versus straight line acceleration, where the Germans with all wheel drive hold a significant advantage, but going flat out on a back country road, they’ll be looking at disappearing taillights. If I had to buy an ICE car today it would be either a C8-ZR1 convertible when it finally gets here or the Blackwing 5 if buying within 2 years.
