As a TKD guy, this belt order was so strange for me. We go white, yellow, green, purple, blue, blue-brown, brown, brown-red, red, red-black, black. Great video though dude! Keep it up!

First off, great video. Technique looked great. I have to ask what style of karate has that order of belts? That’s very different than what I’m used to. I’ve never seen red that low in the order before.

My boss at work he’s a black belt and he said honestly has someone who’s studied karate for a years. He said a black belt represents just the beginning. A black belt represents you’ve learned all of the basics now you can advance.

Shotoryu (old school Shotokan); white (3 levels), brown (3 levels), black (5 levels). Later (mid 1970s) changed to: white, yellow, green, brown (3 levels), black (5 levels). Great video!
