I knew I couldn’t be the only one who thought instead of buying a small screen I could use a massive screen

I've used a tv a few times to play games and have enjoyed it each time. My new office setup doesn't really allow for it but maybe I need to consider changing it up!

  • From my experience using a really good big tv with 4k uhd hdr and led backlighting you'll be in heaven if you have the right setup, this is what my end goal will be once I get a place of my own.

  • most of the games i play on pc uses a controller, so i was thinking of making my pc kind of like my "all in one custome console" connected to a tv. so switching the monitor to a tv wont be a problem right? as long as i make sure that the refresh rate of the tv is good enough? pls correct me if im wrong. also, what about wireless keyboard and mouse? i know they would have a bit of a delay, but aside from competitive matches, is it that significant? i've used a wireless mouse to play halo laso on my laptop, and it wasn't that bad, but what if it was also with a wireless keyboard? is it even possible to connect two bluetooth devices and use them at the same time?

I'm a long time console player who recently switched to pc. And controversially among other pc gamers, I literally just replaced my Xbox with my PC, and plugged it into my TV. I still sit on my sofa to play games with a controller, and when I need a keyboard I have a big ass tray that holds my mouse and keyboard. I don't intend to play any kbm only games any time soon, so this set up works for me. Also, being a console gamer, I've never known higher than 60 FPS, so the whole refresh rate issue is not even a concern to me.
