I like it. Because, no distracting background music, just good fabrication and banter!

I'm an old guy and all you hear now a day's is about how all the skilled craftsmen are gone and nobody cares. You really put that myth to bed. Thanks, I really enjoyed that!
  • Billy, you can calmly explain everything so fluently!! You are the best guy to watch and listen to, hands down!!! Rock on OLD SCHOOL BROTHER!!
  • @CWilh
I've been watching this guy for years, from biker build offs to content like this.. as a mechanic and a novice machinist, all I can say is max respect for Billy and for this job.. fixing something is one thing, but this is next level. Thanks for sharing your skills with us.
  • Without having seen this video, I wouldn't have thought this was possible. Nice craftsmanship!!!
  • @rustyruss9485
Brilliantly explained process. What a naturally great teacher you are. This is how a generation motivates the next. Inspiring 👏
  • Thank you Billy. I just started riding my trike in Dec 2023. In March of 2024 I got my leg infected due to diabetes. Got an amputation now on my leg and I'm in rehab for that currently. Watching your videos makes me feel like I'm riding again. Thank You so much my friend 💯

Billy you are definitely the Doctor Frankenstein of the motorcycle world brother. That was one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen. Can’t wait to see what you show us next unbelievable. You take care and stay safe my brother.

    Excellent description…”welding is just a casting without a mold”… Nice….Cheers from Alaska AK49 👊🇺🇸👊
  • @skrimpdaddy
I am a complete noob to machining, but man to see you explain the process and the tooling. I would have thought that was a total loss. What is this planet going to do when there are no more men left to do this kind of heavy lifting.... great work!
  • @MeanGreene87
Finally a guy with an engineering degree that knows how to build. Thank you for making this video
  • @MF-wi2bx
Enjoyed the video from start to finish! Being able to look over your shoulder and learn is really a highpoint in my day. Thanks!
  • Over the years I've come to learn that this type of skill and level of experience has to come from a real craftsman.
  • Amazing work Billy! Your idea on keeping the castings bolted together really paid off! Every welder knows how hard it is to work on cast metals! I really hope the next generation takes heed to all your knowledge and your skills! Great job!!!

Billy these videos are a window into your world and its like watching a master at work. Your knowledge and talent is seemingly endless and I for one am incredibly thankful to you for sharing your skills knowledge and artistry.
  • I have so much respect for people without the words "I can't" in their vocabulary. Nice job. Thanks for taking us along.
  • @merlinwag
Thank you for taking the time to put this video together Billy! What an amazing process from a true craftsman. I can’t even imagine how much time you have in this repair, but that old knuckle being back together for another generation or two to appreciate is priceless!
  • Bro your really the man , I don’t know anyone who would consider doing that so confidently. I think it’s just awesome to see someone just in and is not scared to just go for it! Your a master craftsman for sure!
