Dr. Jordan B. Peterson sits down in person with Mosab Hassan Yousef. They discuss the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, the chaos created by Yasser Arafat, how Palestine has globalized their radical cause, Mosabs time as a prisoner, what set him free, and the far-from-paved road going forward.

Mosab Hassan Yousef (born in 1978) is a Palestinian ex-militant who defected to Israel in 1997 where he worked as an undercover agent for the Shin Bet until he moved to the United States in 2007. Yousef was considered the Shin Bet's most reliable source in the Hamas leadership, earning himself the nickname "The Green Prince.” The intelligence he supplied to Israel led to the exposure of many Hamas cells, as well as the prevention of dozens of suicide bombings and assassination attempts on Jews. Yousef’s father is Sheikh Hassan Yousef, a co-founder of Hamas.

  • Instead of listening to a 20 year old college student banging a drum and shouting slogans about a place they've never been to or will ever go to, listen to this man.
  • @omarahmedx
Ex muslim from Egypt here. While Islam fundamentalism isn't as strong as it is in Gaza a lot of the same ideologies are still relevant. Everything he said about Islam is true. I hope Muslims find the courage to free themselves from this 1400 year old tyranny.
  • I think this interview was one of the quietest I've ever seen of Jordan Peterson. He was enthralled to just sit there and take it all in. Bravo to the both of them.

As an Iranian who knows much about the situation in the region, I am amazed of how accurate and on point Mosab is. He deserves a Noble peace prize and he would receive it if the noble foundation was not politically and ideologically biased.
  • @zackbagdas883
I am a Christian who was born in IRAN and completely agree with Mosab. He is 100% correct.
  • @hkroesbergen1
I’m an Israeli Arab this guy is speaking the truth

This man is incredible. Such depth. He is so humble, intelligent, well spoken, informed, courageous, sincere, passionate, .. the list of his qualities are endless.. He should be heard worldwide.
  • @nn4151
I’m “muslim” and I agree with pretty much everything Mossab says, especially at 45:00 about sincere devotional people not needing a religious identity.
  • @nickimarie378
Spent 4 years in a Muslim community this man tells no lies.
  • @emmiga
I grew up with many middle eastern friends. Turkish, Kurdish, Albania, lebanese, iranian, afghani...you name it. I got to witness how muslim girls were treated when they dared to step out of line. I witnessed lovely and kind little muslim boys turn into teenagers/ men who'd later beat and humiliate their sisters in the name of honour. Muslim boys were happy to date outside their religion and have girlfriends that didn't dress modest, while they'd shame and beat their own sisters for wanting to do the same. It wasn't social media propaganda, but first hand experience that built my view on islam.

I am an arab, who converted from Islam to Christianity in Italy, where I have been livin for the past 25 years, with Lafi as family name, same Lafi that in Gaza as surname has thousands of residents, mostly part of Al Fatah in Gaza, who claim to be a political opponent to Hamas, but still, they would cover Hamas up, they did not denounce the tunnles escavations, on the contrary, they used those tunnles to smuggle katyusha missiles to hit Israleis villages near Gaza, untill my uncle Yousef Lafi (a criminal) was successfully targeted by an Isaeli drone and put in conditions of not harming anymore (maybe), being an intellectual person who studied Islam and Christianity, not only in their rules, but also heart felt teachings, I agree on all what Mosaab said in this video and underline that this is only part of the truth of the so called "Palestinian" culture and beliefe, a bunch of Anarchists, who had all the opportunities of forming a country, with a florish future, and turned down all those opportunities, in the name of Anti-system, "anti zionists" "anti western" culture, and they found accidental, opportunistic, non-durable, allyship with Communism, or Nazis & Fascists socialism, that once the Islamic identity and power afferms, comes after them as the next enemy, because Islam is in fact an opponent to Communism, fascisim, LGBT, Non binary, or in short all Non-muslim ideology or way of thinking. not only that, but also to the same muslim comunities, who are not part of the same sect or cult, remember the sunnah and shia conflict between Iraq and Iran for 8 years in which 1 milion Iraquie lost their lives? so what to say or think after all this? Islam is a religion of peace? not in a milion years! Islam is the cancer of freedom of beliefe, I myself was threatened to be killed because I becames Christian, and I rarely visit my family in Jordan.

In 1986 a group of Hamas members entered our school fully armed and forced the children to go on the street in a nearby neighborhood to throw stones on Israeli tanks. When I refused fearing my life, they handcuffed me & threatened to leave me in a neighborhood of Israeli settlers who were known to shoot any Palestinian who comes to their neighborhood. Being an orphan I didn't want to get myself killed & leave my mother on her own. So I told them I will go throw rocks with the other kids. I left the school & sneaked back home without them seeing me. That's what I thought! The next day, Israeli forces knocked on our door & snatched me from my house. Someone reported me "for carrying a knife" to kill a soldier the day before, and in reality I was at home! I was 8 years old at the time. I spent 2 months in prison for a fake accusation because that's how Hamas treats its people when they refuse to follow orders.

as an iranian guy living in iran i cannot agree more with what my brother Mosab said about the ways of these people in gaza. we do witness all these things on daily basis in iran. he is not an islamophobe. he is just a realist. western people can just screem political correctness until they're blue in the face but WE know the truth
  • @martiner3622
This makes me cry and understand why he is so angry: "In the face of such a situation, how can I abadon the Jewish people? Those are my people right now. And the Arabs also, the Arab children. I see myself, this is me!" Your voice is so important, Mossab. God bless you and protect you.
  • @holleybaker5645
"Sincere devotion doesn't need a religious identity." Wow! LOVED this!
  • @LPAdams1001
Can you imagine making the protesters sit down and watch this in its entirety?
  • @-EvoII-
Today it's Mosab's birthday. Congratulations Mosab. Be blessed.
  • @victormoses4124
America and Americans needs to protect this man's voice. He speaks nothing absolutely NOTHING but THE TRUTH. God bless you Mosab❤
  • @nic1208
How anyone watches the mainstream media anymore is baffling. You'd NEVER get an interview such as this. So in-depth, thoughtful and educatiing.
