Dr. Jordan B. Peterson sits down in person with Mosab Hassan Yousef. They discuss the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, the chaos created by Yasser Arafat, how Palestine has globalized their radical cause, Mosabs time as a prisoner, what set him free, and the far-from-paved road going forward.

Mosab Hassan Yousef (born in 1978) is a Palestinian ex-militant who defected to Israel in 1997 where he worked as an undercover agent for the Shin Bet until he moved to the United States in 2007. Yousef was considered the Shin Bet's most reliable source in the Hamas leadership, earning himself the nickname "The Green Prince.” The intelligence he supplied to Israel led to the exposure of many Hamas cells, as well as the prevention of dozens of suicide bombings and assassination attempts on Jews. Yousef’s father is Sheikh Hassan Yousef, a co-founder of Hamas.

  • I am a 16-year-old Israeli boy. Hamas shot my mother, burned my house and murdered my best friend. I will never be grateful enough for Mossab's words.
  • Instead of listening to a 20 year old college student banging a drum and shouting slogans about a place they've never been to or will ever go to, listen to this man.
  • As a Jew, I am grateful for this great man. May God protect him and bless him.
  • We must pray for Mosab Yousef's general well being and safety. The world needs men like him.
  • I am a Christian who was born in IRAN and completely agree with Mosab. He is 100% correct.

Ex muslim from Egypt here. While Islam fundamentalism isn't as strong as it is in Gaza a lot of the same ideologies are still relevant. Everything he said about Islam is true. I hope Muslims find the courage to free themselves from this 1400 year old tyranny.

As an Iranian, Thank you for saying the truth. You’re the voice of the voiceless.
  • An ex muslim here. This man is an angel sent from heaven. A leader like him would bring peace to the middle east!
  • Spent 4 years in a Muslim community this man tells no lies.
  • @ldoe8731
What a fine example of a man who went through such difficulty and has the guts to be strong and outspoken without fear. He’s quite the guy. A real man.
  • I used to be Muslim. This man is 100% on point. Every word he says is true.
  • @emmiga
I grew up with many middle eastern friends. Turkish, Kurdish, Albania, lebanese, iranian, afghani...you name it. I got to witness how muslim girls were treated when they dared to step out of line. I witnessed lovely and kind little muslim boys turn into teenagers/ men who'd later beat and humiliate their sisters in the name of honour. Muslim boys were happy to date outside their religion and have girlfriends that didn't dress modest, while they'd shame and beat their own sisters for wanting to do the same. It wasn't social media propaganda, but first hand experience that built my view on islam.
  • Thank God for this honest man. He understands the modern history and is courageous enough to speak out. Dear Lord protect him.
  • As an Israeli living in Jerusalem during the second intifada, when there was bomb explotions in the city every week, I can truly say that this man saved so many lives. This man is a hero that sacrefised everything for truth and saving lives.
  • Former Muslim here. Lived in muslim country for plus 2 decades. This man is the truth
  • Mosab Hassan Yousef I thank you for your bravery and honesty. I served in the U.S. Navy during Desert Shield and Desert Storm. I attempted to serve understand Islam by reading the Quran and the Hadith. I also tried to attend a Mosque which was not allowed. I took two years to study and research Islam in order to find a reason for the historical struggle between Muslims, Christians, and Jews. Your words confirm to me what I already knew from my own study and research. I admire and respect you for having the courage to speak out and to tell the truth as you believe it.
  • Moroccan exmuslim living in Madrid here. I can't tell you how much I love this man. Being an exmuslim and outspoken when it is sentenced by death in islam is very very brave. I appreciate you, sir, for speaking up the truth, you will never be alone. Thank you Jordan for giving Mosaab a platform, we appreciate you as well! 🇮🇱
