Great theory! I wanted to actually let you know that this theory is correct! Lloyd was the original face of the park. When the game first came out I scavenged through the files and explored every areas details and I can confirm to you that Lloyd used to be the main mascot before Rambley. The picture you have shown of Lloyd and Rambley holding the paper in the files is actually called 'the deed' And it is supposed to be Lloyd giving the deed of the park to Rambley. Bonus: In the intro to the game when Isaac Indigo is talking on the black and white VHS, if you look behind him, When the park first opened the sign was different, not only that but the front art directly behind him is different. In game it is Rambley and Mollie painted onto the walls..... In the VHS of Isaac opening the park, It is Lloyd and Mollie with Rambley no where to be seen. The park then years later got for some reason repurposed to be all about Rambley for reasons we currently dont know. I hope you enjoyed this little lore dump I just threw haha

No one talks about the Lloyd statue backstage which shows that Lloyd was the original mascot

The biggest clue for Lloyd being the original main character for the park is in the intro B&W footage of the park's opening - at the main entrance you see Lloyd's painting to the right of the door, but in the present it has been repainted with Rambley. Also, I believe Rambley's AI has not been "trained" to know about Lloyd being the original main character, and that is why Rambley's AI is confused about all the Lloyd popularity and merch. If so, in later chapters Rambley may have a revelation if the player finds evidence to show to Rambley that Lloyd was the original park mascot and Rambley was a secondary character like Mollie and Finley. (EDIT: Oops, now I see someone already commented on this, lol.)
  • A couple other details that point to this: in the video with Isaac Indigo in front of the gate, you can see a Lloyd mural where the present day Rambley mural is now. And when the angle goes above the gate, Mollie's mural on the other side has been there since the beginning and was still there when Ed went back. Second is the fact that when going behind Salem's section, above the Finley statue (or animatronic, idk), it has Lloyd's Limos painted on the wall, which wouldn't need to have been painted over after the remodel since nobody except employees went back there. (Also a Lloyd's Limos sign is seen in the back of the theater) Thirdly is the bronze Lloyd statue behind the theater which may possibly have stood in the place of where Rambley's stands in present day. I do believe he was the original mascot. Maybe Rambley hates him so much because he once was more popular. Idk if Rambley was one of the original Indigo Park Characters either. He may have been created later on to maybe fit the park theme better, but since Lloyd was the og mascot, he isn't as popular as Lloyd was whenever he had been introduced. But hey, that's just a theory.

I feel like this also reminds me of the Oswald/Mickey dynamic from Epic Mickey, just reversed because I guess Lloyd was not forgotten and it could be hinting at how Rambley does not want to be pushed to the side like Lloyd was.
  • Another piece of evidence that may support your theory is that we see a Lloyds Limos sign in Salem’s back room. I think that it implies Rambley’s Railway was once themed to Lloyd.

Wait, only 46 views so far? Good theory, especially with pulling out information about real world parks the dev could be pulling inspiration from.

Amazing theory. loved the song response of the review song that Rambley does, very adorable!🥰🥰:virtualhug::virtualhug:

A question I’ve always had since playing this game, all the other characters have a mascot; even Salem had one, I’m pretty sure that she’s under the rubble in her room, probably why it’s closed off now. But where’s Rambley’s mascot? I know technically it’s still pretty early in the game but I can’t help but wonder if we might see the mascot rambley in later chapters. Also a completely different side note but you can see that whenever rambley glitches you can see hints of yellow and blue, hhhmmm does that imply that Lloyd may have had an ai of his own?
  • Maybe it's just me but that garbled dialog from the Mollie Animatronic sounded like she was saying "Not Rambley. He Hates Lloyd." I don't hear the word hurts at all but then i heard it BEFORE anyone said what it was saying. It's super garbled so it could be saying anything at this point.
  • I LOVE Rambly... but a "Ariel signs with Ursula" or "I got friends on the other side" etcetera, type of scenerio.... would it really be that hard to believe?

Why does the fandom wiki say that Mollie is lesbian 😐
