Mike Glover - Solitary Confinement

2024-07-22に共有
Mike spent 18 years in the US Army and as a government contractor for OGA (Other Government Agency). He served as a SGM (Sergeant Major) in Special Forces and deployed multiple times to combat theaters. Mike is the founder of Fieldcraft Survival, and an expert in Counter-Terrorism, security, and crisis management operations.

For the past two months, Mike has been living a personal hell while fighting for his life in the legal system. Today's episode is his first opportunity to explain what has happened, and what has not, in his own words. Plenty of people quickly hopped on the bandwagon and promoted information that was untrue and factually inaccurate. Mike's fight is far from over, today's episode is an update on where he currently stands.

Keep your head up, Mike. No season lasts forever. Andy is a great friend. Our judicial systems have been effed for a long, long time.
  • When you eventually run for political office. Remember your experience in jail. You can work towards major reforms in the judicial system. We owe it to those wrongly imprisoned and treated by the system.
  • Nobody, no single organization should have that much power to be able to force your arm like that….”yeah, either do what I tell you or I’ll take your kids”. Damn Mike, I’m sorry brother.
  • I also spent a night in jail…my sister in law was helping me pick up my son before any custody orders were in place. His mom was messed up on pills…my sister in law was leaving with my son and I was getting in another car…sons mom jumped on my and tried clawing me. I pushed her back to get the door shut. I admitted to pushing her back. The cops said unfortunately I admitted to putting my hands on her in a domestic. They had no choice but to take me for the night. I ended up with full custody and she later passed away. Hardest thing I’ve ever been through. And I’ve been through some things. Prayers for the Glover family.

I'm glad this is not the situation that was first reported and that everything seems to be getting worked out, but Mr. Glover is getting a very real, very hard lesson in the realities of a system has helped train and support for years now.

Sadly, Mike, our country neither appreciates their soldiers nor does much to help us. The legal system sees us as a threat for the skills we have. DCFS always has a hard time placing kids from crack houses but when they find well adjusted kids they are easier to place and helps the DCFS improve their statistical outcomes. I walked that fine line once and the answer is to find an Ombudsman who will look at this case. My situation was living in a house that was contaminated with lead paint. I moved to a different part of the state and they still fought to try and take my child. They lost. I know you will never give up on your family. You have great friends. (I haven't bought enough BRCC for Evan to come bail me out) In time this will pass. Seek out what you need. Andy, thank you for providing the level headed space Mike needs. It's the thing that makes your channel so special. Keep doing what you are doing. You both are appreciated.

Listen, no matter what most of us aren't going anywhere Mike. I have been watching your content for years, and guys like you are heroes to guys like me. I joined the Marine Corps because I grew up watching your generation at war, and I wanted to be a part of it, I wanted to contribute. And again, guys like you and Andy are the best kind of people. And you will always have my support. Almost 7 years strong in the Marine Corps. God Bless you and your families. Keep up the good work, good things come to good people. Just keep faith.

If you believe they confused Mike with another Mike Glover you clearly need to get your head checked. NOT EVEN CLOSE!! Mike was the talk of the LE community when he went in. They knew EXACTLY who he was. THOSE ARE FACTS!!

Hey Andy, thank you for giving Mike the opportunity to say for himself what went down and what is going on. Also, thank you for encouraging people to not jump to conclusions based on initial and potentially inaccurate information. I'm glad Mike has friends like you to help him navigate through this. Sometimes the most important information, advice, reminders, etc, come from those moments of friends being friends.

I spent enough time in jail during my youth that I lost all of my faith in the justice system. As soon as the system believes you are the bad guy, all the rights and rules of society are out the door. They will destroy you just to maintain their conviction rate. I was a mentally disturbed kid and they were willing to throw me away like garbage. I've turned my life around since then, and I'm a good person that people like and respect. I have two kids, a wife, and a bevy of friends that turn to me when they need help. I've become the reliable one that people depend on. None of that ever would have happened if the "Justice System" had it's way. In fact, I'd just now be getting out of prison.

Now…all the folks who made videos and posts shitting on Mike Glover…all the sponsors who “distanced themselves” from Mike Glover and Fieldcraft Survival…ALL of you owe this man an apology. Keep your head up Mike. Thank you Andy for having this platform and letting Mike clear the air.
  • @alwaysready4017
Man I retired from being a cop and one thing I can tell you is never stay with a woman that called the cops on you ..they have bad intentions and it never ends good. They will ruin you man if your still trying to work and do something in life. I will say this I can’t remember one case where a domestic case actually led to a divorce, most stay until a few more things happen. —— Remember this post if you go back the next time she jumps and makes a allegation you will probably do a year or so.
  • After all of the good Mike has done for this country and is still doing, people are just going to turn their backs on him before all the facts are out. Thanks Andy for bringing Mike's story to us. The truth is what we need and must prevail.
  • A friend of mine from the military and before got a "wellness" check from the local PD. The VA said he needed to be checked on because he was irritated when he left their office. Irritated. So, the police treated it like a felony stop, pointed guns at him, made him sit on the pavement like a dog, and then talked down to him for about an hour. It did wonders for his PTSD and his trust in the VA.
  • my wife had post childbirth depression.. she pulled out of it eventually, but during, I didnt know who she was!. she behaved in ways i had never seen before it was crazy. guys.. this is a real thing to be aware of.
  • I want all of the geniuses who made clickbait videos to apologize to this man.

Retired cop here and (still) a big fan of Glover. From a cop's perspective, based on the facts stated by Glover in this podcast, Glover forced entry into a room through a locked door, breaking the door frame. His mother had to fix it. Being a trained breacher does not mean you get a higher threshold of damage to a door to constitute "knocking down a door." There was an altercation between him and his girlfriend, which got physical, over a child. His girlfriend went to the hospital complaining of an injury, whether it happened or not. An x-ray was inconclusive, showing a possible fracture, which is not uncommon. Anyone who has had a slight bone fracture knows it might take several days or a week until the break becomes visible on an x-ray. The police response, given his self-identified and social media persona of being a badass that loves guns (which is well-deserved), can work for and against you. When it comes to police interactions, those people are going to get a higher level of response in terms of a show of force. There was no "manhunt" as Glover stated in other forums. The police allowed him to self-surrender for questioning. When he lawyered-up, which is a reasonable and prudent thing to do, he left the investigating officer with only one side of the story, hers. Thus, the police believed they had probable cause (PC) to make an arrest based on the information they had. The charging sounds a bit knee-jerk and excessive. The possible mix-up of another person, while very uncommon, does happen, but that's on the clerk in the prosecutor's office who is probably 25 and gets paid $36k a year, on the prosecutor who should have verified all the info, and on his attorney for not catching it quicker. Lastly, while many states do have a "must arrest" policy/law in domestic violence (DV) situations, like it was in my state, the charges being dropped almost certainly have to do with the fact that his girlfriend ultimately refused to aid in prosecution, which is the norm in how most of these types of cases end. To infer that this was some larger conspiracy against him, probably has to do with lack of knowledge on how LE and justice system work, including how imperfect the entire system is and can be. Wish him well and hope his company does not take too big a hit because of it.
  • Thankful Glover has the chance to speak. You’re a good friend Andy. Been praying and talked to Mike via patron a couple times. Glad the duo is back
