At the end of last year I released a Wholesome Internet Stories megacompilation. Alot of you seemed to like revisiting the old stories in one place. So...this year I turned the concept on its head...A compilation video I like to call the Internet True Crime RABBIT HOLE. This video contains internet true crime stories talked about on the channel within the last couple of years. I've formatted the videos in this compilation from least obscure to most obscure. The Deeper you go the weirder it gets. 2023 was a big year for the channel and I appreciate you all supporting the videos featured in this compilation. I hope each of you have a great holiday and a happy new year. Thanks for watching. - wavy

I am infertile from eating scented candles. The
  • The kenny glenn story is insane like... "oh my kids are showing signs of becoming serial killers, their punishment? No bike."

My husband was killed 6 months ago by a drunk driver. He LOVED your channel and introduced me to it, I was instantly hooked. Thank you for all those years you entertained my dear hubby. ❤

Damn, Robert Krampf only got 4 years for CP, but the reddit guy was possibly facing 50 years for downloading academic papers? This speaks volumes about the systems in place and people with power.

Dude. That ADA was such a badass. She literally sused that whole situation out on a zoom call. We need more court attorneys like this.

6 Hours? This is longer than most Netflix documentaries and all for free. Let’s just appreciate Wavy for this 🙏

"You can never really know someone from behind a computer screen"? Bro, you can never really know someone from across a dinner table, someone sleeping next to you, someone swearing you loyalty and total, and constant trust on a daily for YEARS ON!

Regarding Aaron Swartz: people often underestimate how much money goes into big academic institutions like MIT and how important and threatening what Swartz was doing regarding freedom of knowledge. Prosecution wasnt being ludicrous, they were trying to make an example out of him. Some even believe that he was murdered, although nobody can validate that. Either way, he ended up a martyr. Rest in power, Aaron. Sharing and accessing knowledge freely is a right.

remember kids: if you are stabbed, try to prevent the knife from being pulled out until you are in a hospital, for the knife actually prevents a much larger bloodloss through the open wound! if able, put wrappings like towels around the knife, and if the knife gets pulled out by someone else who isnt a doctor and you are somehow save enough to look for help, apply as much pressure as you can on the wound with towels or whatever else you can get to hamper the bloodloss and try to find someone who can help you call an ambulance if you cannot do it yourself!
  • That old woman who threw the cat in the recycle bin still boils my blood.

Aaron is a hero. It shows just how f'd this country is when illegally downloading academic papers so they can be accessed for everyone is punishable by 50 YEARS, yet every other crime is basically looked at as getting away scot-free. Disgusting.

in the wendy's gator tosser i love how his charges were ''Agravated assault with a deadly weapon'' means they considered the gator a weapon

The Amato story makes me mad every time I hear about it, the guy had like the most loving and supportive family on Earth even after he wasted all their money on nonsense. So many people would kill for a family like that and he just murders them because he thought some rando online was more important than them.

I know it’s a horrible situation, but watching Austin Jones twerking is simultaneously hilarious and so cringeworthy that it took a solid 5 years off my life
  • @drayiskewl
Anything about shootings absolutely destroy me. I was at UNLV on December 6th, 2023. My school was the target of a shooting and it just hurts so fucking much. I wish no one ever had to go through that.
  • @onefastgoat1168
The fact the women got 28 years for literally murdering someone and the guy got 50 years for stealing some books on the internet is fucking gross
  • @hal5474
I don't believe for a second that Kenny only pretended to hurt that cat and Dusty was a perfectly fine "happy feline". There was so much fear and sadness in that poor creature's eyes that it's unmistakable.
  • @PlatosPunk
That woman threw that kitten in the bin so callously that it’s not the first time. If she hadn’t been caught she would be going on with her life and doing it again

In regards to the Aaron Swartz case, academic journals should be free to access, no money from access to those journals goes to the researchers who actually did the work in the first place (some journals even charge to get work published in them, and the costs can be quite high), and all of the peer reviewing is done by academic peers for free, theres no charge involved. There is a scrutiny and editing process to make it confrom to the journals guidlines, but that is different depending on the journal. Access to academic research, should be publicly available.
