    yeah i still hate iso

As someone that passively kept up with valorant since beta and am now getting back into it, I find it really strange that this is the angle they went with Iso. I think there was already a sort of gap between how good his double tap shield was and the rest of his kit and they’ve only made that gap into a canyon. Imo probably should have removed the free shield and either buffed or tweaked his other abilities to be more usable or desirable.

As a very new player to Valorant, it's wild they buffed the agent that has a shield or even make an agent that has a shield in game where every bullet counts, lol.

I think iso should have one of two changes 1. Can block an infinite amount of dmg for one hit, but doesn’t block the head, or 2. Blocks the entire body, but only up to a certain amount of dmg, and shooting his shield will only block up to its health, and any left over dmg is then applied, so he doesn’t fully counter ops or headshots.
  • Interesting changes for the shield ability : Instead of getting a shield on command that can deal with one tick of damage, he just gets a 40hp of shield buff, which absorbs some of the damage, but not block it entirely. So, 100hp of personal health + 50/25hp of pre round shield + 40hp of his personal shield that will run out after a timer. So, he can still tank things like a vandal headshot or an op body shot, but cannot come out unscratched. It will reset after 2 kills, and when he recasts it, he can only regain his personal shield hp and pre round shield hp, but not his personal hp that he has lost, it can be only done by a healer in the team like sage or skye. He will also get 15 percent speed boost while in double tap. He might even get 2 charges of it at this point. There will be a visual indicator when he is in that stage. That way, he can still survive your vandal headshot or op body shot and kill you, but you will die knowing that you did a decent bit of damage and your teammate can finish him. You can still kill him with a vandal or phantom headshot+bodyshot , double martial body shot , 3 guardian body shot etc. He can probably survive shotguns in some situations, but that is a good thing. Also, it might kickstart a new guardian meta, because remember, the guardian does 195 damage on headshot, which can come really handy, so one person in the team will have to buy a guardian instead of a phantom, vandal, op or Odin. He would still need buffs to his other kits to make him viable in pro play.

Anyone remember old rainbow six siege and Blackbeard came out. Iso is giving me a lot of Deja vu with his double tap
  • @Alex-2103
It’s crazy how underrated you really are like you def deserve 100K
  • Honestly, the change they should have made was just to make his shields bigger, so they stick out more and are easier to destroy, while Iso is still behind cover. Not having a 2 kill reset forces you to be way to aggressive, which sucks in many situations, but dealing with the current Iso still sucks, in a chaotic situation. If they really removed his 2 kill reset, they should have made his wall a 2 kill reset signature ability instead, and also buff the wall. The wall probably needs multiple buffs.

man u def deserve way more subs, you obviously put effort into your vids, keep it up man im sure you'll grow even more in no time. id love to see it happen :)
  • @Pissandra_0.0
Iso literally boosted so many people. Every single game instalock iso was topfragging only bc it was broken. He was completly no skill to win. And even now after nerfs he's still super strong.
  • @ultrayeets
Lol definitely the most accurate video I’ve seen in a while. I played during all these times and man did I not have fun whatsoever 😭
  • @oz403
There was also the stinger meta, but im not sure if that was in beta or not
  • @lemongreed7916
I would actually like to see even more broken things from valorant's history since I only started playing this year and haven't experienced most overpowered stuff
  • @alexo_pog
iso is unhealthy for the same reason Blackbeard was unhealthy for siege they could never balance him because the core ability interracts with the main 1 shot mechanic of the game, same as valo
  • @staniu5847
I personally obliterated golt/plat lobbies (or even higher when i was playing with my friends) when chamber was so op. It just felt so easy back then lmao
  • @vincenzosama
Great video, you just forgot to mention the most broken change in the game made by Riot, which is Cypher's plot armor, as he survived an entire cinematic. I don't know what went through the DEVS' minds, but that was wild, no one could believe it. The game doesn't feel the same anymore 💀
  • Iso change imo: The double tap becomes his C ability, it is similar to prebuff, where you have to get a kill first to get a shield. But either he has 2 charges, or the shield duration lasts longer, at least 25 second, with a visual indicator that even if he does not have a shield, he can activate it with a kill. (From enemy POV) His wall becomes his signature ability, it gets multiple buffs, maybe has 2 charges depending on exactly what kind of change was made and has a 2 kill reset. His Vulnerable either has a visual queue or a sound queue, or both that an enemy has been hit. With better range.
  • @yourbelovedautumn
imo chamber doesn't even come close to iso pre nerf, chamber was only really good in the hands of someone who could aim, an op in the hands of a bronze isn't gonna instantly make them better iso on the other hand literally carried people higher than they should be and gave them artificial confidence because of his shields
