18:30 the hand was mangled because there was no supports put in. you probably had to turn supports on in the software slicer. Without them it starts to try to print the hand in mid air, so you just end up with strands of plastic stuck to the nozzle that will eventually stick to the main part of the model, then eventually enough of that built up to "support" the rest of the arm being able to print. Ultimaker cura is a better free slicer program to use, you should be able to find settings that will work with that printer. that will give you a lot more control over things like layer height and be able to choose things like adaptive layer height, control retraction, and temperature to prevent stringing. Looks like decent enough detail for this sort of printer. You'd be able to print some decent stuff with it. but most of the time the first few things you need to print are things to make the printer better. like a proper spool holder for the filament.

They're made by Jake Lazer, another content creator on YouTube who tried to make stuff from movies and shows in real life as close to the actual thing as possible. He did a lot of Spider-Man builds, which inspired him to make the shooters. They're really fun!
