How I see this, Guard has better synergies and plan structures, along with sick guesses from mind games and gamesense, but Sentinels have great adaptability and individual skill. Either Sentinels mess up Guard's plans or Guard takes their adaptions into their schemes.

Although I was really hype to see how Shroud popped off, I am amazed by the strategies pulled off in this Pro Play. This is beyond insane.

33:55 this postplant retake viper wall from valyn is so fucking smart. Forces everyone into his OPer's line of sight, his entire team is retaking from that angle so there's a whole firing squad set up in case the OPer misses, and only one easy angle for his OPer to hold with the smoke making it nearly impossible for the oper to be flanked. It also cuts trade angles and supporting fire from both mid doors AND caves, two of the most common postplant positions. Never seen it before but its super well thought out. I'm going to start using that in my ranked games.

Just a point out The kayo knife at 2:23 is kinda useless if you don't have a player going tube above. This is because lets say the knife scans 1 enemy. You will have no idea if the enemy is up in the tube or holding doors. However, in this case, Jett was already in tube, making use of kayo's utility .
